It's the one show from that era that doesn't seem to show replays... I use You Tube TV for my basic cable needs, and have nflix, prime, etc 

but NEVER see Get Smart..?

Boise gm was in Phx.. ran a 'Statue of Liberty' play.   I think Kellen Moore (now OC of Eagles? formerly Dallas) was the QB.

Great call ~ Perfectly executed!   that's the thing about "trick" plays, your players have to focus and Execute them the way they're drawn up!

I've already played these:

*Boise +11.5 (half)... Jeanty is a beast for true and can bust a long one vs ANY team.  QB is decent, scrambles well, smaller but smart, tough kid, well-coached, never-surrender mindset for the team, wouldn't be surprised if they've got some tricks.  Yes, there IS a difference between top OL/DL at the schools, Penn St HAS to be looking past to the semi's.. sandwich game.  Kinda expecting a shootout here too.

 *Az St +14.5 (buy 1)... Skatteboo is a tough runner, but it's a "look-ahead" for Tex, Tex gave up lots of passing yds v Clemson and (IF he has time!) the Az QB can throw it and their passing scheme gets guys open consistently!  not sure how their defense can hold the Texas speed @ RB/WR, but I'm hoping they keep up!

**Oregon gm OVER 54.5...  Ohio St looked like a beast the 1Q against Tenn, THAT Ohio St team would be tough for any team to beat.  but I think it was an aberration w/the bounce-back from loss to Mich, nat'l tv, etc... I expect Oregon's offense to be firing on all cylinders (as USUAL), I think Gabriel is very accurate, and the quickness and talent of WRs on both teams will be on display in good weather in SoCal on a perfect field (Rose Bowl) ~ Pts! Pts! Pts!

LEANING Strong on Oregon+ and less on Ga/ND Under.. I know there's lots of love for Ohio St, I might tease Oregon up.. we'll see

First, regarding going for the kick, maybe the coach wanted to give his kicker the chance for a record?  Getting up 8 would've made clinched at least a tie, forcing WV to score and convert a 2pt try..

Second, Vegas doesn't make phone calls to 'go for it' to push a spread from 5pts up to 8 (or any other number lol), they don't, which Sportsbook mgr is gonna be responsible for that?   

Third, Vegas doesn't want 50/50 action so they make the 'juice money'.  They WANT ACTION.  They want to post tickets.

I've mentioned before I worked an "office" from '02-'07, and we had approx 300-350 clients during FBall season.  We'd write maybe 1500-2000 plays on a Sat and Sun during FBall season, by far the busiest betting season.

We had a DonBest 'Line Service' that gave us the line moves in real time, we had 2 computer screens to monitor this, and just put the 'real line' up and wrote the action. 

We kept track of the $$$ coming in, and if we were getting buried on a game (say $9k to $2500), if ANY of the major "Island Books" started moving the line, we would to the smaller players.. to the "sharps" we put up the "real" line (like Pinnacle).. ALWAYS.  When they finally moved, then we'd move it to everyone.

So, at kickoff we'd have maybe 4-6 games on Saturday and Sunday that we had 'a position' on..  some way, some how, thru turnovers, kick returns, blocked FGs, whatever.. some way we'd win more than half of those "position games" that the House needed.  Not every game, but more than our share.  And made $$ every week.  EVERY.. Week.

When you win those games, they usually knock out parlays and teasers and $$$$$ rolls in...  That's how it works in real life.  Swear on a stack of Bibles.

books may try to shade the line to the smaller players, but putting up the REAL line is what works.. week in, week out.

Dallas made the big mistake signing Dak to the 4yr/$240M contract.  It's apparent that Cooper Rush is just as capable (or even more so) in running the Cowboy offense, 

for a fraction of the price.  literally.. a fraction lol

Their defense has stepped up somewhat, Micah Parsons being healthy is certainly part of that.  Dowdle continues to run hard, I can see the Cowboys battling the whole way

and keeping this one close.  Bengals defense showed their stripes giving up 79 points to that awesome Steelers offense last week, when they had EVerything to play for.

In a weak division, Dallas still has a chance to be a wild card, and a young QB looking to prove his mettle, and a coach fighting for his job, and a defense trying to show

their home fans they're not the piles of s**t they have appeared to be all season.  

Bengals also fighting for their playoff lives and Joe Burrow will be flingin it, Dallas will have to score to keep up... OVER for me.

he's on my fantasy team and he killed me today..

last week he tore it up, Buff took him out after a few plays in 2h (instead of letting him run up a monster "Saquon" game!)

today, they hardly ever even gave him the ball.. no idea why

if memory serves, he had a 5u last season college baskets I tink!

then they decided to add it to the regular schedule, and have tinkered w/it over the years to balance out the schedule.

Yes, there's been some efforts to improve the safety issues w/eqpt and safer kickoffs, etc

THEN, Amazon came in a few yrs ago, gave the NFL 1 BILLION Dollars for a 10 yr contract to televise Thurs night gms.

100 Million/yr.. for 1 game a week.. maybe next year they'll get nflix to do 1 Friday or Saturday gm/week, who knows?

So, will they ever stop having Thurs games..?

It cost me straight play on the OVER.. and a 5/1 play on the ML..  and had a 4tm par that'd still be alive, so yeah it cost me.

But, I don't think it'll help anyone by firing HC at this point of the season.. team is playing hard for him.
