@ragingstorm Maybe not... Perhaps you're doing "something right" which may give you an edge." After experimenting with different types of strategies, I found myself experiencing a phenomenal winning streak as well. That's when I realized it wasn't luck. |

@detroitdavid
Yup..... no doubt about it. You're better off live betting college basketball and avoiding nba until later in the season.... Thank me later......

Bro..... that is precisely why I only bet overs. It's better to have two teams working in your best interest(s) than one.

You've got to be "out of your mind" to bet pregame NBA O/U's and "super, out of your mind" to bet in play NBA U's with the ever present threat of OT.... (Yeah, I know that it only happens 5% to 6% of the time - to you anyway)...... JMHO |

@KeenMoney I probably pay more money in taxes on my sportbetting income each year than you earn. As far as being "a dead bird" is concerned, you're not the first chick to tell me that. And you probably won't be the last.......

You're absolutely right....... But your theory is applicable to O/U betting. With inplay betting, you can evaluate the play of both teams which helps immensely to estimate an approximate final score, something you cannot do with pre game betting. I would argue that player injuries, home teams, back to back games, etc. are irrelevant. Your focus is simply on the rate at which both teams are scoring, continuity and of course, a favorable O/U number when it's time to place your bet. Furthermore, the odds do not change to any significant degree from beginning to the end of the game. You might even have the opportunity to select better odds with inplay betting than you would pre game. You're on the right track. Pregame betting and particularly pre game ML and Spread betting......... is for the birds!

@Puerta2Puerta I've been doing inplay O/U NBA successfully for 2 years but this season has not been as successful, though I'm certain it will eventually change. Stick to O/U, preferably Over bets, you'll get the hang of it after a while...... |

Just joined.... My first thread and if no one objects, I was wondering if someone, anyone, could comment on my theory.
I bet NBA O/U every day, every day, but my success rate has plummeted since the 2024 - 2025 season began. I seem to think teams have a continuity problem with scoring in the early part of the season or have the odds makers surreptitiously changed the way they set o/u numbers in nba games, specifically, the third and fourth quarter numbers. I'm having a very difficult time with my live o/u betting... Thanx for your response.... |
