Trying to cap off a solid early season...unfortunately we're done with the early games to get us through the work day, but we can make due. LSU getting poundeddddd, everyone and their dog laying the points in that one...a little scary no? Stay away for me. Instead, I'm going to Pac-12 land. Dana Altman has run a pretty good program in Eugene, where football recently has been king, but they have one of the better home court advantages in the league in my opinion. I'm laying the points. Oregon -11.5

12-5 Posted Plays, had a 6-1 Weds!
Hope everyone had a happy holiday, gonna keep it short and sweet. Portland recently played my Buffs, and CU beat them rather simply. Colorado state is a well coached team, and I expect them to give CU a run for their money when they match up soon. Simply a value play with this line, seems too low. BOL
Colorado State -6.5 |

5 for 6 today, not bad... 11-5 Posted Plays One last one for the day...my team, Go Buffs! Now while I think the Buffs will win, I think the spread is a little high...Air Force is always a well coached team, that shoots a lot of 3's. Buffs got a scare against Nebraska-Omaha last Sunday, relying on making it to the FT line to eke out a win. CU will have better depth and better the rebounding edge, but I think Air Force may backdoor it (similar to Chaminade!) Air Force +15.5 |

good morning covers, lets see if we can hit some of these early games...Gonna try and get both of these early games at once here. I like the UW/Zags rivalry getting going here early in the season, I just like the Zags coaching and depth quite a bit more. I expect Zags to roll thru the WCC per usual, and I think UW will land somewhere in the 6-8 range in the P12. I'll lay the points, plus I think 171 is just way too high, thinking game will be more like 85-70 type score. Also, Milwaukee/Central Michigan--I think simply that Milwaukee is the better squad here, as long as they're not still gassed from losing in OT yesterday. Two points seems like a good value line here. Gonzaga -9.5 Gonzaga/Washington Under 171 Wisconsin Milwaukee -2 BOL |

Posted plays 5-3 Milwaukee plays a pretty halfcourt oriented game, and in their wins they held the opponents under 70 points. They're gonna try and limit the possessions, and I again see this one being played in the 60's or low 70's. Should be a close game to the finish, slight lean to Duquesne laying the 2, but I'm not as confident there. Milwaukee/Duquense under 153.5 BOL |

Been pretty busy, haven't been able to post as much as I'd like...few leans today, but one I think I like the most is UNC. Got upset last game, and knocked form the #1 spot (preseason rankings mean nothing), but I expect them to be hungry and prove themselves this time out. The athletic advantage should be significant against a Northwestern team who has never made the dance, and is projected in the bottom 1/3 of the B10. I expect NW to try and muck up the game and make it as half-court oriented as possible, avoid the transition buckets as much as they can. But I think UNC's defense will limit NW, and the rebounding edge should be far in the Tar Heel's advantage. Look for UNC to win going away. North Carolina -10.5 BOL

Yikes, looks like that Butler O could be something to keep an eye on, efficiency was off the chart for them in PR.

Gotta love these early games...
Gonna play a few picks today based on the many early options. Probably wont have time for a ton of write ups, but I've been doing well early in the season I want to at least share my picks. My analysis of that Cincy game worked out nicely yesterday. Short and sweet--This Temple game has been pretty well analyzed on the board this morning, and I think most people are spot on. To me this game is very similar to CU/Auburn, I think Temple has the size advantage and should do well on the glass. Defensive game, likely to be played in the 60s, I'm taking Temple in a close one. Didn't have time to post much yesterday, but did solid. 5-0 on the day...Valpo (+U), Mizzou, Dayton, and Colorado.
Pretty lean day today after the fun of yesterday, a couple minor leans, but thinking my posted play today is gonna be on the Bearcats. Athletically they should run circles around BGSU--my only concern is they sleepwalk and let BGSU stick around. Look for it to be somewhat close early, Cincy to pull away the last 10 mins.
