You know how old momentum works so I jumped on Little Blaney at 7.5-1 in truck race. Flying high after beating Kyle at his own game.
Good luck this weekend (Like Day and Fowler in golf)

A good friend of mine is playing this week. He qualified thru the club pro national championship. His name is Brian Norman. He is the assistant at the course we just played the state open. Great dude and he can really play. He is from Kentucky so extra special week for him.

Switched instructors and trainers last week looking for a change. Hope to get something going for rest of the year. Thanks for asking!

Is my 7.5 degree setting maximizing my spin aka my accuracy To answer your question technically Loft as well as the shaft you put in your driver are to optimize your launch angle and your spin rate therefore getting the most out of your equipment. Generally the shaft that comes in your driver is garbage. By the way QMich I went back to my 6.2x Motore Speeder tour Spec in my SLDR

Oh yeah...carry with the R1 for me is 235-240 (I'm only 5'5" tall) and with the SLDR Aldila shaft it was about the same but I had a lot more trouble controlling it. I generally play a lower draw and am in the process of working towards a driving fade |

Some easy ones on 5dimes that I would recommend would be Seung Yul-Noh over Michael Thompson (Tourn.) and Brendan DeJonge over Kevin Chappell (Tourn.) |

By the way I think this type of golf is great for the players and terrible for viewing! No big numbers in play.
Relatively it was easy to make a bogey/par but hard to make a par/birdie. (Some will not understand what I am saying but most will) Also the USGA screwed up and made Saturday the hard day. Almost every player interviewed commented on how hard the pins were Saturday I think it was Phil that called them the hardest he had ever seen collectively. Just my opinion. Sure wish I woulda played better at sectionals

I tried everything. It just worked. It's funny cuz I can give it to other really good players and they hit it low left every time

There are a lot out there and I suggest getting fit for one. If you want technical side here you go: Old driver launched at 9 and spun at 3100 rpm carried about 255 or 260. Sldr launches at 14.5 and spins 1700 and I can now fly it 275ish Pretty incredible difference. I mean I am swinging at a little better but the driver is awesome.
I'm looking at picking up a new driver. I currently use an R9 with a stiff shaft. Anyone have the SLDR driver? If so, please disclose shaft make and model and if they've tried several and any info that may be of assistance. My swing speed is in the low 90s. Thanks. |

I will be surprised if it doesnt get close but Kaymer looks really in control. He coulda crumbled yesterday but didnt I will be watching. The issue is the pins will be easier making it harder to make up shots.
