replied to Anybody betting on the all-star game? in NHL Betting i know this is unpopular. ive mentioned this before. i still wish the goals were very slightly bigger, maybe 8" wider and 4" higher. I personally think the scoring is a tad too low. Instead of averaging 6 goals a game, I'd like to see an average of 8 or 9. Predictable streakiness. hmmm. Maybe I'll dip my toe back in. I used to do pretty decently and then I started consistently losing MLB games and got out while I was overall ahead. Ex: W W L W L L W 1-0 L L L 1-1 W W L L W 2-1 So even though he makes about 6 picks per week, you only find this situation (after 1st 2 losses) arises about 3 times per mth. I noted this pattern several mths ago, didnt follow it and got out of gaming. I thought it unusual to do this well for 1 yr, but he's kept it up after 1.75 yrs. For whatever reason, after he loses 2-in-a-row he wins the next pick right at 70% of the time and has been doing so since early 2006. If your only wagers were to follow this 'system', you'd basically go 2-1 per month. Is this just a coincidence that he consistently does so well after 2 straight losses?
