created a topic No Respect For My Toreros in College Basketball Wow so Vegas has made St Mary's a -13.5 point favorite against my USD Toreros. I think taking USD +13.5 is the play here. Heck I would even argue to sprinkle a little on the ML. While I respect St. Mary's, USD is no. 1 in all of NCAA Basketball in 3 point defense. St. Mary's is a team that has heavily relied on the three. Also USD has actually done extremely well on the road this year, winning @Grand Canyon, @New Mexico St. and @Colorado, something ASU failed to do a couple of days ago. Folks the Toreros are for real. created a topic Live Bet Bad Beat - AZ/Purdue in College Football Was at home watching the AZ/Purdue game, plotting my time to get in on the action via Live Bet. Decided to go with Arizona -220 up 4 Purdue 1st and Goal at about the Purdue 45. 2 minutes left 1st and 10 Purdue. 1st snap after I live bet is a pass by the Purdue QB, almost picked by the AZ LB, literally went right off his hands. 2nd and 10 Purdue. the center snaps the ball, past the QB, the QB somehow picks up the ball throws for a 1 yd gain. 3rd and 9 Purdue. Arizona blitzes, Purdue QB heaves up a hail mary pass, one on one....and ya'll know what happens next. And hoping for the backdoor was a joke, as Tate all of a sudden couldn't pass to save his life right after that Purdue TD. There are a couple teams that cover them regularly, Creighton comes to mind, but most of the time Vegas knows exactly what they are doing. I had UNLV the other night versus Pacific. Only needed UNLV -6. UNLV was up 7 with 4 sec left. They fouled the Pacific player for some ungodly reason. 2 free throws. Game ended at 5. Kell is a little banged up, Zags are fired up needing another win to finish off a solid non-conference. I can't see SDSU keeping this game within 10 points. Can you? created a topic Seton Hall=The Cooler in College Basketball Was riding high...took Miami and Seton Hall to cover. Both looked solid at the half. Both looked solid with 5 minutes left in the games. Seton Hall 9-0 run, makes it a 9 point Hall lead, then they proceed to give up a 13-0 run to Rutgers and lose the game. Literally one of those Games where Hall dominated for 37 minutes and lost the darn game! I only needed ML in one of my teasers too! created a topic Seton Hall to start it Off in College Basketball Tomorrow I love Seton Hall -7 to start the morning off right. Went to Seton Hall for a year before transferring so I realize this is a huge rivalry, but Rutgers hasn't even kept it close the last 3 years. And this Seton Hall team is better than any of those teams ever were. Rutgers has feasted off of an easy schedule with no big wins to speak of. I think Seton Hall absolutely smashes them tomorrow. I actually almost like the over better than I do the spread, but like others have said I expect this to be a close game and I like having a little bit of a hook with Davis. replied to Friday in College Basketball Oh Colorado. Team has a lot of talent, but lacks discipline. They are young, play like their heads are on fire, and even though they have a huge size advantage, they prefer to shoot outside shots against teams. Remember SDST was up 8 points on a top 10 Wichita St team going into halftime, before the Shockers ran away with it in the 2nd half. I think this game is going to be a close one. Really Close. USF has had a lot of time to prepare for this game, and while UC Davis looks great on paper USF is actually a pretty solid team. Mcarthy and Foster are both pretty good. The difference will be size and I think USF holds a huge advantage there, especially at the guard position. replied to Friday Baskets in College Basketball Love the Jackrabbits today. Mike Daum is a great player and I feel like Colorado will have no answer for him. My USD Toreros handled Colorado no problem, and while their defense is better than SDST, the Jackrabbits shooting is much better.
