Great call man ... needed a solid play to buy these $145 Christmas gifts for a party tonight and your logic made a lot of sense. Thank you, thank you, thank you ... and Merry Christmas to you and yours! |

Thanks Capp ... Wanted a two-teamer with my 'confident' UTRGV -1 pick and you convinced me to roll with Bradley though the line had flipped to -1.5. No matter, got it done despite a white-knuckle finish for a nice little pre-Christmas gift to myself lol. Cheers |

What motivation do the Texans really have here. Sure, beating the 2 time Super Bowl champs at Arrowhead, but they have the division locked up and really can't move much higher in the conference standings. Chiefs don't want to lose here because it takes away their room for error against the Steelers. If they lose 2, Buffalo can swipe first in the AFC and a first round bye. With Mahomes hobbling, they will want to make sure of the bye. |

9-11, -1.5 units YTD... Only one play for today. Providence -3: Friars are a different animal at home and with Hopkins back in the lineup averaging 17 points in his 3 games back. Already beat BYU by 19 at home and now face a good St. Bonaventure team. Bonnies really haven't played a daunting schedule, losing their only real test by 5 at a neutral to Utah State. Think the Friars continue to make home court a fortress and come away with an 8-10 point victory here. 1 unit. |

Do you mean Green Bay +5.5 (not Milwaukee)? Also, where are you finding SELA +8.5? I haven't seen it higher than +4.5 |

Good morning all from out here on the left coast. Ok then, Colgate +32.5 it is. 1 unit. SELA line is up to +4.5 so adding another 0.5 units. Tailing @MarkBellhorn on UTEP which is now up to +15.5 at Sportsbook. Also pouring over the numbers on South Dakota St +11.5 at Nevada. And maybe one or two more.

Gonna wait and see where this line goes overnight with Colgate at Kentucky. Wildcats coming off a hugely emotional overtime win over Gonzaga in Seattle and got the big rivalry game with Louisville at the Rupp on Saturday. Colgate is down a bit this season but can look decent at times evidenced by a 13-point win at a solid NC Wilmington team. If it stays at +30, I will likely make a small play on Colgate but hoping it might tick up a few points if the public pounds KY. If it gets to 33 that would be freakin' awesome, but there's always the chance you wake up and it's bet down to 28 or something. Will see how it plays out. |

Watched UTEP play at UCSB a few weeks back and they have a nice, balanced team that can play a bit of defence. Like that young guard Camper and they got some decent size up front. Kind of expected this line to be around 11 or 12, so to see 15.5 is kind of interesting. Louisville seems to be getting a bit healthier so who knows, but 15.5 is a lot of points against a decent UTEP team. May have to tail you on this one sir ... |

7-10, -2 units YTD ... Pretty pedestrian start to the season, though thankfully my NHL wagering has subsidized the CBB losses. Getting one in early for tomorrow: SELA Lions +3: SELA still not getting much respect from books as they make the short trip to Lafayette to face in-state rivals Louisiana. SELA has yet to play a Div 1 home game but have been more than comfortable on the road with wins at Monroe and Tulane and a neutral win vs North Dakota, while being competitive in all other games with the exception of a 21-point loss at Mississippi State which is by no means shameful. Balanced team with good contributions from 8 or 9 guys in the rotation that has gone a solid 6-1-1 ATS. Louisiana meanwhile has been bad despite playing mostly at home, going a miserable 0-8 ATS overall, though in fairness they have played some pretty decent teams. Still, I am taking my chances on the Lions who will not have to travel far and no doubt will have some of their own fans in attendance. |

Playing one more small play today (.5 unit) Syracuse +22: This is no doubt going to be an unpopular play but wanted a bit more action tonight. Cuse does seem to play up or down to their opposition and play a lot of close games, and while we recognize Tennessee is a significant step up, they did recently lose by 4 to quality squads in Texas Tech and Texas at neutrals. Cuse has a bit more depth than they've had in recent seasons and I feel like even if they get behind early, they won't just roll over and die as many of the Vols lesser opponents seem to do, especially in Knoxville. I don't see a path to outright victory here, but I think this is a 72-60 type game which would be just fine for wagering purposes. That's it for today.

@Coloneljim A safer bet would be to fade my repulsive Rangers for the last 58 games of the season LOL. Good to see you again Coloneljim!! Hope we can deliver for you!

7-8, +0.5 units YTD... NC Asheville Bulldogs +13.5: NCA is off to a decent start despite not playing at home yet, going 3-3 in 5 road games and 1 neutral. Ugly start at Alabama (it happens) but they had fairly convincing wins at North Florida, SEMO and Tenny St, and losing a tough one in OT to C. Arkansas. Real guard-oriented team that can score the basketball. Mason obviously has a pretty decent squad but have had some blips along the way including an ugly home loss to Central Mich. Think Asheville can definitely keep this within the number and an outright win would be surprising but certainly not shocking. 1 unit. |
