replied to Based on Recent History, These Teams will Miss the Postseason in NFL Betting SInce keeping record of these types of stats, I can tell you 11.6% of all teams that start 0-2 have gone on to make the playoffs. Keeping in mind, in 2008 alone, Minny, Miami and San Diego all started 0-2 and still made the playoffs. While it is rare, my thinking is that when it does happen, it happens in bunches. So Id guess at least one of the teams on the list above (My guess is the Giants) will still make a run at the playoffs. Remember, Coughlin teams play best when their backs are against the wall. But you are right, its not looking good for those teams mentioned above. Nice post. I love odd stats like that. replied to Scar's NFL 2013 in NFL Betting After a 5-0 day, I had a 1-2 night, but hit the 5 unit banger live betting, and well, I'll call that a successful day. Hoping to keep it rolling tonight. My thinking is simple, 7 of the last 10 meetings between these teams have gone over the total. In those 10 meetings, every time they had an under (3 times), they went back and covered a total of 40.5, 7 times. I can go on and on with this one, but I won't. I would also like to play the Bengals at -6.5, but because its a divisional game, I kinda feel like the spread could go either way. A total Bengals blow out, or a typical close divisional game. Im staying away from the sides on this one, but might hit this live betting if we see the line move in a favorable manner. My play for tonight: Pitts/Cincy O40.5 3 units. I cant see either team approaching the 100 mark tonight, giving a little more of an edge to the under tonight, and if possible, would buy it down to u199.5 -225 and use it in a parlay with a longshot ml like cleveland or charlotte.
