created a topic There are 3 plays today in NBA Betting I am a computer programmer and have done well with this for a decent time now. I've created 2 algorithms as of late I'd like to share. YTD System S: 18-3 System Y: 20-7 Here are the 3 plays, you may wait on the Hornets line as I believe it will drop to -3.5 eventually but I took -4. replied to Here is a play in NBA Betting I don't have a very well formed opinion on NBA games. I believe it's nearly impossible to make a profit long term in sports played everyday if you bet everyday. I cap NFL very well and am making a system to speed up the process; for NBA I just play the system plays that pop up, nothing more. Must you be a programmer do create a system? Systems are simply a grouping of parameters and filters that predict a desired trend. You absolutely don't need to be a programmer to create a system. The most brilliant programmer could use the most irrelevant stats in his/her system and it be completely useless. It's all about finding the correct parameters and weighing them properly. My system is a few query lines and filters after the fact. You don't need to be a programmer to do that. I am building a program for football that weighs parameters I used to spend hours on calculating in my head(with extremely good results) and it's use is really to be more accurate and save more time. YTD System S: 17-2 System Y: 20-7 We have one certain play and one play that I'm weary about posting because the data isn't 100% in on a certain filter I use. I'm playing both, the second one will probably end up fitting the parameters as well. I love these Systems, I'll continue to tweak the filters and as I open some up under certain conditions, its brings System S to 29-3, that's back-tested under certain conditions. created a topic Here is a play in NBA Betting I am a computer programmer and have done well with this for a decent time now. I've created 2 algorithms as of late I'd like to share. YTD System S: 17-2 System Y: 19-7 I have tweaked a parameter in System Y that brought the back-tested record from 23-10-1 to 19-7. I like the higher percentage although it isn't as nice as System S, it's certainly playable. We have a play that falls within the parameters for System Y: Pelicans 1Q +1.5 I don't know how I feel betting against the Thunder while they look this good, but we play and stick to what we have.
