created a topic Rome Tuesday in Tennis Nothing I like much on the men's side. Maybe a small play on Stephane Robert. He played pretty solid tennis in the qualifiers, and I think Bedene is in a bit of a funk. on the women's side I like a few Gavrilova playing pretty well recently. Lisicki not doing well since knee surgery last fall. I think Gavrilova will make her do more running than she would like too. Larsson over Konta......Konta, despite being ranked 24, surprisingly has never won a match on clay in the main draw of a WTA event. Larsson plays her best tennis on clay. Do you think Chardy, who is currently ranked 32, will be a little extra inspired to win here to make sure he stays in the top 32 for the French open seeding. created a topic WTA Begu in Tennis Lot of juice here but I doubt Begu loses this match. She is having a solid clay court season. Last year she was 13-6 on clay with 4 of those losses coming against top players (Azarenka, Kerber, Kvitova). Gasparyan has lost her last 4 matches.... all on clay. created a topic Sock vs Pella in Tennis I like Sock quite a bit here. Not only is he clearly the better player, he also handled Pella quite easily in their previous meeting. created a topic Please help.....ranking and seeding question. in Tennis This might be a dumb question, but will points earned in Rome this week count toward the seeding for the French Open draw? I would have assumed they would but last weeks did not seem to matter for this weeks draw since Murray is still seeded 2 even though he dropped to 3 after Madrid. created a topic very interesting stat for a wednesday game in MLB Betting Paul Maholm in 7 career starts against Atlanta has pitched 47 innings with an ERA of 1.34. Mark Buehrle seems to have had a really hard time pitching at Fenway in his career, but I would like an easy way to see the numbers for sure. created a topic Uh, Wow! in MLB Betting I know stats are not everything, but one line seems way out of whack based on these stats....... first, the mets are 6-5 at home while the marlins are 2-7 on the road. Then when you look at how Dickie was 3-0 against the marlins last year with no earned runs in 20 innings, How are the marlins favored in this game??? Am i missing something? created a topic NY/NY in MLB Betting record 8-5 +3.88 units Like the Yanks and Mets tomorrow. Don't care about the "Trying to avoid a sweep" factor. The red sox are a train wreck right now. The Yanks want to sweep them as much as the red sox want to avoid it, so it comes down to the yanks being FAR better than the sox right now. 5 units Yanks -135 I have watched Lincecum pitch this year. He is not the same pitcher as in the past. In my opinion his arm is a little dead right now.
