I made the trek to Sactown to see the Knicks/Kings bc that building was on my bucket list, and it delivered. Anyhow, if you want to see a team that NEVER mails it in, watch the Knicks. They play like every game is Game 7. I was watching Brunson on the bench, and the guy is agonizing over every possession even when he's not in. He and Josh set the tone, and the rest follow. It's rare to see an NBA team give a shit night in/night out, and last night that caused the Kings to give a shit, so the game turned into a dogfight. Tomorrow will be interesting bc it's the third game of a west coast swing, and they've already won the first two. This is where it usually gets ugly, so perhaps I eat my words. We shall see... |

Mind-numbing that you took the time to write this... Quote Originally Posted by Metaxism:

It's like you're constantly trying to convince a non-existent audience that you're some big-timer with a perfect life. I gotta be honest, it's cringeworthy to read. Let me give you some friendly advice: you need to get over yourself. You're 15 games over .500 with 115 picks made. I'm not sure why you think that's some kind of epic achievement, but it's not. It's not bad of course, so don't go getting all upset at me, but my point is: let's just keep things real here ok? Another piece of advice: no one believes the sums you claim to be betting. In addition, it would be extremely tacky to post them even if it were true. True high rollers would never do such a thing, not in a million years. They're very quiet and modest about things. That's how I know you're not one of them. As everyone who reads this forum knows, there are a few guys here who are out of this world. Needless to say, their records put yours to absolute shame. And I'm not saying that to be rude, but just to state the facts and keep you grounded. It's as if you've never read another thread outside of your own. They're all anywhere from 45 to 65 games above .500 and it's obvious they bet bigger dollars than you even claim to. So trying to tout your 15 games over .500 record is about the strangest thing to read. And then outside of those few guys who are the elite of the elite (the 1% types), there's a solid 5 to 8 other posters here who are also doing better than your 15 games over .500 record. So you're not even there with those 2nd-level type of guys. You're 3rd-level/middle of the pack, nothing more. And that's not a bad thing, but why pretend you're anything else? I just don't get your angle here, it comes across as really weird and forced. |

Had to sign in and post here because that was either the single worst performance in NBA postseason history or just coincidence. I still am not crying conspiracy but was he drunk? High? The fact the Rockets were not down 40 with Harden playing for the Warriors is astonishing. That last foul was comical no one else on earth would ever go near Curry on that heave. (oh and arguably the best ball handler on the planet dribbled it off his foot with no one around right before this)

KU wins late. The worst thing to happen to Wich St is this game being a pick em.

Always read your stuff and respect what you do, and then I came across this:
10 straight season with the most talent in the big 12
Obviously he knows what hes doing, but he simply isnt a good in game coach.Theres a reason they always flame out in march....Bill Self gets out coached. All you had to do was watch the last series of plays to realize Kansas isnt practicing the right things.... "Always flame out in March" ? Where do you come up with this stuff? He's got more tourney wins than any coach in the country since he arrived at KU. He starts over every year with 3-4 freshman that whether they be 4 or 5 star guys it's not like each one is Andrew Wiggins (who was HORRIFIC in the loss to Stanford and Embiid was out so) Here's some real numbers instead of spouting inaccurate nonsense: Critics may decry Kansas for a handful of earlier-than-expected NCAA tournament losses in the past 10 years, but that does nothing to change the fact that Bill Self’s program has been the sport’s most consistent. The Jayhawks have participated in the last 10 NCAA tournaments (a streak that actually dates back to the 1989-90 season), reaching the Elite Eight in five of them and the Final Four in two. They also took home the 2007-08 national championship after an impressive 37-3 year. But what really makes Kansas stand out among its peers when it comes to consistency is its domination of one of the country’s power leagues. The Jayhawks have won nine consecutive Big 12 crowns, fending off challenges from the likes of Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Missouri and some kid named Kevin Durant at Texas. They have also won six of the past eight Big 12 tournaments. To say that the Big 12 has been Kansas’ personal training grounds for the NCAA tournament this decade would be quite the understatement. -Bleacher Report More stats from USA Today: |
