replied to Mavin's MLB Contest in MLB Betting The Walkman 0-0 $0 Los Angeles Dodgers ML -130 Beckett on the mound still trying to regain some the magic he once had.. Those day might be behind him, but he is a good quality #4 starter.. Gonzalez is starting to hit and will be in a familiar place tonight.. The dimensions of the park have changed a little this year but by no means is it gonna be a hitters park.. Today is a day game though so the marine layer won't really come into effect today.. I expect Kemp to get things going today as well.. The overall factor is that San Diego can't hit.. They will struggle to put a run or two IMO.. Arizona Diamondbacks ML -145 Once again I am making a play against a team who has yet to prove that they can hit consistently on a daily basis. Mcdonald isn't horrible, but I believe McCarthy is in a different class than him.. I think that getting rid of Upton has maybe helped this team, because they don't have the distraction now. Goldschmidt is primed for a huge year and the Backs are scoring runs, something the Pirates have failed to do.. S.F. Giants/Colorado Rockies Over 7 -115 Nicasio hasn't really proven himself as a good quality starter yet, he has had some good games but can be inconsistent.. Let's face it Lincecum is not the pitcher he once was.. He can still be a quality stater, but he isn't a perennial Cy Young candidate he once was.. He definitely doesnt have the control he once had, as he gave up 7 BB against the Dodgers in his 1st start.. replied to Can Someone EXPLAIN how Vegas gets their lines? in NBA Betting So, when you saw the clippers line yesterday after they were 1 point dogs the night before and lost, did you jump on it? Cause it is noticing stuff like that, that will give you an edge.. Vegas gets their money on both sides as well as the juice, so they always profit.. Yesterday they did really well, with 80% public on OKC in Nationally televised game, and Lakers upset tham.. I was happy.. You could see it though.. created a topic 1s thalf chase system.. No value in it..It isn't all that cracked up in NBA Betting This system is no good.. It has been hot, yes I'll give you that.. there's just no value in it. Ok for example, you bet 1 unit on 1st half under and it hits, you win .8 units.. If it loses you double up and bet 2 units.. If that hits you win 1.8 units, but you lost your first unit so you profit .8. So you're risking 3 units to win .8 essentially.. Not a whole lot of value there.. Also, it needs to hit 4 times and not lose once to actually turn a profit.. It can win 3 games in a row and yes that's fine, but if it loses the 4th you're actually down .6 units.. Figure it out guys.. It says 24-3 documented plays. How many were actual 1st half winners, and how many were 2nd half double downs?? At 24-3 you're only up 10 units. created a topic Walkman is here.. Mondays winners are in in NBA Betting I really like Denver -5 tomorrow.. I like to play against team that are on a back to back with the second game being at elevation(Utah/Denver). Utah blew out the Pacers yesterday and I see them playing tired tomorrow and getting winded late in the game.. Denver is the play 76'ers +3.5 Now I might be crazy, but maybe I'm not.. I know, you're all thinking the Grizz just lost to New Orleans so they're gonna be pissed right, and Philly just beat the Knicks, so they might have a letdown.. Not so fast.. With Rondo going down, Philly now has something to play for.. They currently sit at 9 in the east, but with some strong play on this 8 game homestand they can quickly get into the playoff hunt.. That's it my friends.. Goodluck and Good Pickins Tail or fade me I don't care..
