I have the basic program written.  I plan to go through a few dozen historical games and see if I would have made any money.  Probably end up tweaking the program, trying again, tweaking, rinse, repeat.

I'm an old retired guy...I mostly write my programs for the fun of it.  It's a lot more entertaining than watching television.  If my program doesn't work out, it won't be the first time.


I wrote a program once that predicted when the world would end...am I ever glad I got that one wrong.

I may have found something at 5Dimes Stats Center.  I'm still looking at it.  It doesn't seem to have everything I want but it may be a fair start.

Does there exist some place where I can find daily (weekly, etc) baseball game historical odds?  ... like for this last season.  I've been looking but haven't found anything yet.

I do a lot of programming in C#, VBA, Excel and I've done a lot of work with baseball statistics.  During this offseason, I'd love to write some sort of a program (I'm thinking Excel/VBA but Visual C# might be better) that looks at baseball stats and ... of course ... that would pick a TON of winners!  :)

...thus, I need some historical data to test my multi zillion $$$  winning program against.  ;)

Anyway, if anyone knows of anything right off, please help me out.  Otherwise, I'll keep looking.  I'll post something up if I find something to let potential assistants know not to put forth any effort.
