Not sure why anyone would say otherwise. Besides stamkos, who do the lightng have that rival names like toews, Kane, hossa, sharp? And hedman is good, with potential, but he is no Kieth or Seabrook. |

So what you really meant when you said this on Monday is that it might still be their year and they will beat new jersey with quick in net? I ment they are having a poorer then normal year for their standards, and that quick wasn't playing like himself, and that they should give him a break, and that if they didn't they would lose one hockey game. A team can have a bad year, including their goalie, and still hold their reputable resilient traits they are known for and squeek into the playoffs, despite losing one game or despite giving their starting goalie a break for a game. |

Now keep in mind the calibre of goaltending they faced in those 6 overs (Lehtonin,Reimer,Gibson,Anderson,Howard,Rask) not the worst group of goaltenders but not a group that can hold a candle to what Dubnyk has accomplished over the last couple months. He's playing lights out and I can't see Calgary putting in over 2. Take it for what it's worth but I'd personally play the under Its not missleading. If what you say is true, then in Calgary's past twelve games, if you had bet over on all of them, you only would have lost one bet, and pushed five, and won six. So that's 1 under vs 6 overs, making the over the clear trend. |

Have you ever considered following a streak, instead of always going against them? They are called streaks for a reason.

Your name is max prophet. If you need someone to tell you who to pick... Then don't make a play, and certainly change your screen name. Maybe max tailer

I would have been at least a little impressed if you called this three games ago. Anyone that knows this team , and hockey, at all seen this coming back then.

Why would you go LARGE on the Hawks if you think its going to be a close game???

I'm starting to think your not serious. You bet against teams that you say are too obvious winners, you bet against two streaks in the same game, you say that the kings have given up and are a crap team, and now this? You seriously bet for Toronto to score first when they can barely score any at all? In their last 6 games they have only scored more then one goal one game vs ottawa, and they have been outscored 23-8. What are your reasons for picking the Leafs, who I believe are the most the least motivated team in the league now, to score first the past 10 games? And why would you sudgest to people to bet on Ottawa to score first ... When Ottawa is the only team in the last two weeks that the leafs have shown any scoring ability against, and after the sens look that much more venerable after last nights thumping by the rangers, and the hamburglers injury/fatigue??

Islanders have one of the best records in league, and are at home, against a tired kings team that are on the bubble .

I think they will get 8-10 points of the possible 16

40 saves, including all 3 penalty shots, dubby is not showing any signs of getting tired, or crumbling.

10 units?? Against a team that has a reputation of playing their best... Like two Stanley cups in three years best... When their backs are against the wall?? Does nobody remember last year when the sharks were up 3 games to 0 , and the kings came back to win the cup? This team has had a bad year for their standards, but they NEVER give up, especially this close to slipping back into the playoffs.

What's up with all these people bragging about being 70% when all they ever pick are heavy juiced favorites?

What are you talking about. As good as he has been this year, the Flames haven't missed a step without him.

If anyone says the kings are a bad team, you don't know hockey. They won the cup twice in the last three years, and they have a bad habit of having their backs against the wall before they thrive. Last year it was the first round vs the sharks, going down 3 games to 0... Then rolling on to win the cup. So until they are officially eliminated, this is one team I would never count out, and just because they are not ripping up the standings, does not mean they are a bad team.

So you drop a lot on heavy favorites... How's your wallet making out?
