 I AGREE, MONTICELLO WAS "CROOKED" , But I was 16 years old .My dad gave me $25 to bet .I would always pick Gilles Lachance as my driver no matter the horse. I would bet Place bets on him , my dad would make my bet and I always came home a winnerbecause I was using the $25 he gave me to bet with . It was fun. Also great concerts there . I saw Chuck Berry .It was great.

 Sportsbooks in certain cities offer the game to bet. New York and Las Vegas are 2. In florida , you can go to any of the several "Frontons" and place bets on future games . Vegas even had Live Jai Alai in the 80's and early 90's .

 jai-alai is simple to understand. It has the same rules as simple "handball" or "racketba". There are single games 1-1 , and doubles 2-2. ThThe game is played with A "Cesta" strapped to your throwing arm. The serve has to go inside 2 lines towards the front-end of the floor.If you don't serve the "pelota", a hard roc-like ball made out of cat-gut, between those two lines , you lose the point and go to the end of the line of players , or team . When you catch the "pelota" with you cesta , either back-handing the catch , or just regular catch with you throwing end you have 3 seconds to throw it back against the wall. If you hold the pelota in you cesta too long , you lose the point . The game goes on till 1 team scores 7 points . The first time through with the 8 teams , Points are worth 1 point. Second time around ,Points are worth 2 points . Every time a team wins the point , it stays on the floor and keeps playing and scoring as long as the keep winning the point . A team or man can win out the game by not losing till they score 7 points. This often happens with the better players controlling the game. It all sounds difficult to understand but you'll catch on if you see Jai-Alai 2 or more times .Betting isthe same as Horse Racing , Greyhound racing , or Harness racing . 

2 things my dad said to me as we watched harness racing ant monticello raceway in new york. He said NEVER bet your money on any sport where the outcome is controlled by HUMAN BEINGS , and number 2 , If you do bet , NEVER bet on what looks like a sure thing!!!! This has helped me in not losing my cash . I made alot of money betting on JAI ALAI matches in MIAMI,FLA. , only because I got to know most of the players by playing with them and learning the "inside" scoop ! Players are given contracts by how many games the win or lose that year .They are all friends and will make sure their friends get contracts the coming year . This has been the only sport that I've ever trusted to bet on a sport controlled by humans . Even Horse Racing and Harnes Racing are controlled by the Jockey .

IF you bet money on MLB games, GOOD LUCK" . MANAGERS ARE PULLING STARTERS WHO are PITCHING GOOD GAMES ONLY TO LOSE THE GAMES WITH THE BULLPENS . AND FORGET aBOUT PICKING OVER/UNDER SCORES WITH LATE INNING "MASSACRES " TO RELIEF PITCHERS .

What's the deal with this "OFF" Garbage in Pre-season games . AND ALSO WHY DON'T YOU POST THE GAMES THE NIGHT BEFORE . IT'S 10:00 P.M. E'S T' AND YOU HAVE "NO BETS AVAILABLE" ! GET ON THE BALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only the 4th week in and GAMES WERE A JOKE. THE BROWNS "BLOW-OUT " THE RAVENS. LIONS ALMOST BEAT THE CHIEFS AND BEAT THE SPREAD , AND THE BUCKANEERS KILL THE RAMS AND THEIR "SO-CALLED" GOOD DEFENSE AND DALLAS IS LOOSING TO THE SAINTS . BOY, I"M GLAD I DON'T BET ON MONEY ON FOOTBALL. THE GAME HAS GOTTEN TO THE POINT WHERE YOU WONDER IF THE GAMES ARE "FIXED " !

I Don't know about you guys, but I find it very difficult picking MLB Winners. Not only do you have to pick on the correct "STARTER " , but you have to pick the winner with all of these "STUPID MANAGERS " PULLING THE STARTERS PITCHING GOD AND GOING TO THE DAMN BULLPENS THAT STINK . EVERY DAY IT'S THE SAME THING . TODAY , FOR EXAMPLE, THE TAMPA MANAGER PULLS CHIRINOS WHO HAS GIVEN UP ONLY 2 RUNS in a 2-2 game and THE BULLPEN , WHICH IS LOUSY , GIVEES UP 4 RUNS IMMEDIATELY . IT's enough to make you "GP NUTS "!!!!!!!!!!!

This is really ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I log in to make MLB pre0season games after 1:00E.S.T. There are no picks available even though there are games that day . Why dont you guys get "On the horse" and put up the Games on time that night !!!!!!!!!!!

Why Does it take Covers so long to post the WNBA GAMES ? It was 4:00 A.M. last night , and the gmes for Sunday had yet to be posted ! Could not pick the early games on Sunday , get "ON THE BALL " COVERS , AND POST THE GAMES EARLY SO THEY CAN BE PICKED !!!!!!
