Tasman Makos are my team, they've often been shafted for higher honours.

I'll tell u this for about 4 years Shane Christie was the 2nd best open side in NZ and never got selected for the AB's. 

Beyond a joke. Would have been different if he played for Auckland or Canterbury.

Ya, definitely some regional bias factoring into selections.  It's the same human factor in every national team in the world.  Should be an interesting game with your boys this week.  Shame it's not a home game but they are very capable of ending Auckland's season.

What was the line for curiosity sake, does anybody know?  NZ -7.5 at least would be my guess, with millions of suckers taking the bait..

21.5?  That's insane!  So what the hell was this guy talking about losing money on France?  They covered by 20 freaking points!!!  I wish I had money on France lol

I've played and loved rugby since I was a kid, T2.  I lived in NZ and played on a couple of rep teams with guys that went onto play for the ABs.  Unfortunately I had to leave NZ but picked up the sport again in College after getting injured in football.  I did win a national championship as a player though

I don't know all the players in this league or that league but I understand rugby like the back of my hand.  I know how to read the game and I know the psychological aspect in sport, being a former multi-sport athlete.

We all have things like that bro. Heres one for me :

NHL is one of my best sports I bet on. And has been for many years.
I make good money.

Yet I couldn't even name 6 players in the league. lol.

As my capping in that sport is largely about numbers etc.

6 players lol, yeah I know a lot more rugby players than that.  It's the young, up and comers that I'm not up on.  You better at least know the goalies in hockey.

Regardless of who's on a team, I can watch any game of rugby for five minutes and know pretty much all I need to.

Ok this is what happend Vegas.

Pool game nz beat France by 27 points.  


So bookies had no option.    Even nz punters.  They thought Jesus nz beat them few weeks ago by 27 points.  


Do you know at least 90% nz punters back -21.5.  

It's human.  You can  not blame them buddy.  

Bookies cleaned up.    That's called gambling.
