Week 3 of the semis, Dogs v Souths , which i have no doubt at all will attract 70,000 - 75,000 people...much like the GF qualifier in 09 betwen the dogs eels which got i think 75,000? Imagine the ratings? the build up? all the old souths ex players ...etc etc...it would be absolutely huge....Just what the NRL need after the embarrasment they will get next week.....Gyngel , the NRL and the TAB will make sure the rabbits win.....
OR
Dogs v Raiders...which will get , what 20,000 max? There will no where near be the same level of anticipation and interest in this game...no where near....This means less revenue for everyone involved in the game...
Everyone can see the attempts by the men in pink to get the Sharks over the line...2 tries off forward passes, however, sharks were too fucked up to take any form of advantage from it.....dropped balls, kicking out on the full etc etc....
The Rabbits will win the penalty count 8-1 and have every 50/50 call there way....Overcome that Raiders....
I hope the Raiders win, cause phsycially and especially emotionally, it will be better for the dogs to get through to the GF...
Its all about the money

I know it is a different sport but interestingly since AFL scrapped the mcintyre system and went to the current formal adopted by the NRL this season, only 2 teams that lost the 'double chance' game in week 1 actually lost the second finals game as well and as such knocked out in straight sets
I do think there is an element of overreaction when setting the Week 2 market - top 4 team generally undervalued after their loss and conversely the bottom 4 team overvalued because of their week 1 win

Looks like Lyon will play now

I think Manly are undervalued, they were far from bad last week and Bulldogs play a style that works well against them. Souths on the other hand giving 6 points is just wrong.I have been on the souths band wagon for weeks but canberra are flying at the moment
