Prior to winning the GF last season Bennett had lost about 800 finals matches in a row,not to mention the Dragons were completely outplayed by the Tigers in the semi's and didn't deserve to make the final in the first place

Weyman isn't on the money you would expect. He was signed from Canberra as an injury prone, suspension prone prop.

His next contract though

Who should have Newcastle gone after? Hard to say, but throwing money at a guy just because he comes from the area isn't the best idea. Maybe look at who is off contract for the following season and pencil them in, and use of that free cap money to front end contracts next season. Let Bennett have a season to sort the team out, then bring in what he feels are the missing pieces.

that is my point here. He is getting paid like he is at that level, not that he may make that level

Nobody runs harder or faster for a hitup then Moimoi,would be the best forward in the game by a mile if he played more then 3 mins a game
