Story in the Courier Mail today about friday night being the Cowboys' "Grand Final" too. From memory there have been similar late season clashes between these teams over the last two years, where the finals bound Broncos took on Cowboys teams that were out of contention and treating the game like their pseudo GF.
And both of those game have been extremely close. I reckon Friday night will be very close again.
While everyone is talking about the dragons form slump etc etc, i dont buy it, the number 1 thing i look at is defence......and the drags have ONLY conceeded 21 points in the last 2 weeks.....The attack will always come around.....
In fact, one of the Broncs try last week was from a fluke blomb that somehow landed to Israel.......Take that away and it is only 6 points......
Drags defence is the best by a MILE in the NRL, it is the closest thing to Melbournes (before the cap drama).....There attack will turn around.........Do u honestly believe the Roosters will do to Dragons what they did to Parra..........Now chance.......Give me Dragons @ 1,85 any day of the week.........Even money and u know the team u back is going to defend extremely weel is a very good relaxing feeling......
Cowboys are a pathetic joke, seriously, how do have tied scores with 5 to go and let a winger from dummy half run 50 metres and score un touched? Fuck me.....There is something seriously seriously wrong with that team....
Give me Titans on Friday night, I dont expect Parra to get 1000 penalties like they did the other night........
