So i bet an under and this is what happens.
A try where a player picks up a loose ball and 90 metres to score
Keating throws a pass forward for another try.
Another try off an intercept.
No wonder the roosters are at the bottom of the ladder unable to score any points. They have the most naturally gifted footballing halves in Pearce and Carney and these guys havent scored more than 12 points in 12 weeks? Cause the rules dont allow them to play natural football.
The blue print to win a game of NRL now is to strangle, wrestle, jump the line in defense.
for offense, dont worry about set moves, just bomb and hope or wait to pick up a loose ball and run and score.
If i was an NRL coach, i would spend 99% of the week on wrestling, strangling and timimg the jump off the line. Dont worry about attack, cause it doesnt exist in the game. It has been strangled out. Just rely on luck for your points, bombs, deflections, loose balls, bad bounces.
What happened to the days of well constructed tries, creating overlaps, putting players through holes?
This is all harrigans doing, the NRL is artificially slowing the game to a stand still to make the games closer. yes, the games are generally closer, but as a spectacle, the game has become an eye sore.
