31-29 (+10.78)

Not a fan of playing a game too early with all the crap that goes on in the hours leading up to kick-off but will make an exception here given the ever declining state of the Doncs. Cows aren't much better, I know but they have more upside in my opinion, are pretty much at full health and could scrape into the Finals (unlikely but not impossible) whereas Brisbane are shot to absolute sh!t.

Big game in terms of each teams' fortunes. Both squads decent off the bye. Cows a fairly good home favorite whilst the Doncos are a relatively poor road dog in recent years...

BOL this weekend bud

Right now i am leaning the way of the Broncos but that could all change. I think with the shake up in team list could make for more enterprising footy and perhaps they actually score a few points

I think the line will move to 6 so nice working taking it early, Cowboys look  but they have looked  a lot this year

Yep. Already at 6 in some shops. Hannant confirmed OUT for the Doncs.

Cows fielding their best looking side (on paper anyway) in quite sometime. Thankfully Henry came to his senses and dropped Lui, Kostjasyn...

Prince & Wallace given permission to go elsewhere in 2014 - the broncos have something cooking for 2014. 

Barba is as good as a done deal and there's rumours Cherry Evans wants out of Manly and is a target for the broncos as well. Although I can't see the latter being allowed to walk barring some serious breach of contract on the Sea Eagles behalf.

Broncos have  probably given up on this season and just targeting a big one for next year

Barba and Cherry-Evans would be great additions for the club, no doubt Cam Smith ends up there as well in 2015. It's fairly clear Brisbane has drawn a red line through this season and is looking ahead but you can't discount them having a possible dig against the Cow's who in all honesty have no excuses if they sh!t the bed tonight...

Adding a multi/parlay. Had a bit of success with these of late so will stay on the train for now...

Bulldogs / Raiders / Sharks / Sea Eagles 

All to win at $3.30 (3 to win 6.9)

What is the difference between Barba and DCE? Both are contracted with there respective clubs for a couple of more years. If both want out, then how are they ay different?

I like it except the Raiders...They are appalling away from Canberra. Dragons are a decent team, they just have had confidence issues. Last Monday night would have given them a boost.

Yea i can see the Doggies letting Barba walk but no way DCE's is allowed to move on while under contract.

Time will tell if they grant him a release. Furthermore, you all know he wants out because Broncos are offering him more money. He didn't seem to give a f##ck about his family when he was out drinking, gambling, abusing his wife and shagging other chicks...As soon as he can get more money, he uses his wife as an excuse....Mercenary......

'Hoo-doo's' in rugby league exist and are relatively strong as well. Raiders 16-2 against the Dragons in the last 18 games, so I doubt they're think about their shitty road record given that history. Also last Monday, St George celebrated that win over Souths like they had won the Grand Final. 'Short turnaround letdown' a fairly strong proposition...

No excuses there by the Cowboys. All the mojo for the most part of the 2nd half and still lose. Friday no good for the heavy favorites.

Kudos to a battered Doncs team for showing up given all the alleged 'negativity' the media sold us this week...

Always the issue with putting a bet in too early is you miss the 'perception' angle, and the perception angle was overwhelmingly that the Cowboys would be too good for a reshuffled Brisbane side suffering off-field issues. Took the bait and left exposed.

Shall get 'em tomorrow fellas...

How much is Barba on now with the Doggies? But what you say does make sense. His wife and children now appears to be a convenient excuse for him to get more $$$$

Main reason for Barba's success with the Doggies is because of their second phase play - big forwards who essentially are all ball players passing out the back and in space. He usually is the one who benefits.

Broncos attack doesn't offer him that
