Dragons getting too much respect for home ground advantage. Lets see. In round 1 only 1 home team got up out of all the games. Last week only 3 home teams got up. IMO the only home ground worth anything is MELBOURNE and NQLD. Saints just don't have enough points in them. 19 points in 2 games. Maybe the line is because Utai, Tuqiri and Galloway out .
$500 to win $480 Newcastle ML
Gidley out who cares, one of the most overrated players IMO. Too error prone, goes too hard and fucks it up alot. Round 3 everyone has forgotten Lockyer is gone. Parker out for Brisbane is more of a loss than Gidley IMO. Brisbane managing to put up points regardless last week however they will find it harder against a Newcastle team that practiced Bennet defense all off season.
$500 to win $475 NQLD -8.5
NQLD one of the only teams that has had a descent home advantage over the past few seasons. Lost their first game there. Parra looked ok last week while Hayne was there. Honestly look like wooden spooners without him. Would put in a futures bet if i liked that kinda thing but I don't.
$500 to win $475 Manly -5.5
Manly the team of the competition so far. Halves doing great and T-Rex is steamrolling over everybody. Was in the 2nd row when he ran straight over Robbie Farahs head for the try. Glen Stewart out, Carny hype starting to die down a bit now, Sharks look good in defense but only managed 22 points in 2 games.

What about Ellis? He is arguab,y in the top 3 backrowers in the game. The aount of work he gets through is amazing. Is he in or out? when he left the field, the Tigs opened up like sydney heads. Is he playing? If so, i am with you on the tigs. What about Matt Cooper? He was the drags best in there first game. Need to see injury reports first.

Disagree about Gidley. He is the glue in that team. The Knights had luck levels in the last game unseen at this level. Any half competent team would have been up by 20 points against the Knights last week. There 1st try was from a bat back, the second was legit albeit soft, and the last try, well, it wasnt. I am not convinced one way or another yet.

Yeah, the cows will be looking to repay the crowd after the trash they put up in rnd 1. I even like the over here.

Your right about Ellis, forgot about his injury. Was pretty poor before he went off last week though, made 2 errors himself which cost the tigers and also 2 missed tackles but yeah usually he is money

OK so I just bought that bet back (minus some juice). Galloway out is a loss and hard to know what kinda state Ellis is in. Also often descent teams that lose by more than 20 points cover the next week (assuming dragons may still be descent), anyways gonna leave this one alone.

Well I liked Bulldogs/Warriors Over, Des was on ABC Grandstand the other day saying to win games thesedays you have to be able to throw the ball around. Both teams putting up points
The other was Knights/Broncs Under
But will see what they come up with for the adjusted total. Can't take them at $1.75

Dunno about the Knights game, true Lockyers is gone but to be honest he is also overrated. Or was in the last season. Don't get me wrong, one of the best in his time but he definitely didnt peak in 2011. Sure, he kicked the matchwinning goal in the playoffs but to be honest he wasn't all that much better than manyyy other NRL players last season.

Glad I bought that one back. Have to give credit for Rostos for reminding me about Ellis's injury
