NRL ROUND 6 - Early thoughts.

Here's just my early thoughts on the weekends games. Would love to hear what others have to say.

NRL ROUND 6 - Early preview

EELS(home) vs DOGS(away) - Lean dogs -6
Despite eels being at home I think the dogs should take this one comfortably. They played better than the scoreline suggest vs the dragons and eels at home so far this season has been dismal. 

TITANS vs TIGERS - leans tigers -1.5
The tigers have been very inconsistent so far this season, getting destroyed by roosters 2 weeks ago to a very solid win over the rabbitohs. But the titans aren't good enough at the moment to back with only a 1.5 start.

EAGLES vs WARRIORS - lean eagles -5.5
Huge comeback by them last weekend will boost their confidence after a mediocre start to the season. I think they will start playing some better football now and warriors away from home will feel the brunt of it.

ROOSTERS vs BRONCOS - lean broncs +2.5/Under
Broncs one of the in form teams so far this season with the best defensive record by quite a bit. I'd look for the under in this game especially if it's as high as 38-40 like it was vs the knights, parker cant kick to save himself.

COWBOYS vs RAIDERS - lean cows -4.5
raiders have orford out, big blow to them. I see cowboys running away with this at home despite having cooper and tamou out. matty bowen to score 3!

KNIGHTS vs SHARKS - sharks +7.5
7.5 is too high for the knights in this game.

PANTHERS vs STORM - storm -6
Storm finally have been hitting form in the last 2 weeks after their embarassing loss to the cowboys. Expecting their roll to continue.

SOUTHS vs DRAGONS - dragons -6.5/OVER
Souths are pretenders, dragons are the real deal. I think souths will struggle to make the top 8. Expecting a high scoring match so look out for the OVER.

There will be more Doggies fans at ANZ then Eels fans so its not really a home game for the Eels

Orford a big loss to the Raiders  

I'm a Raiders fan, trust me we wanted him F@#cked off!!

Still a tough game though, can't expect miracles up in Nth Qld from the kid

A couple of points mate

Parra aren't playing at home. The game is at Homebush

The Tigers aren't inconsistent, they just have a shitload of injuries. The best forward in the game only game back last week. The front row had to re-introduce themselves to each other, the lock will more then likely be back next week and the hooker can't walk. My Titans spoon bet looks better every week

Sea eagles are shit. any other team then the sharks last week and they would have been hammered. Warriors won their last game at Brookvale

Broncos have the best defence because they have played at home in all bar 2 games, and played fucking shit teams on their 2 away games. In 6 games they have played 1 team that will make the 8

You obviously haven't watched a Canberra game all year

Knights are in a different class to the sharks

storm are very over rated. Reminds me of parra, instead of give the ball to Hayne its give it to slater.

Well not to sure i agree with any of this. The Broncos look awsome this year as do the Storm. Sharks aint doing all bad and the Sea eagles are just up and down atm. Tigers are suffering same as every year where they try do it all all the time. Hmmm if you know so much about the game y dont u post ur picks and c how u go.
