It's more will BC step up to a mile.. No. Connections are afraid of losing that perfect record.... World sprinting is non existent.. hence why the europeans don't give a stuff about BC
I don't understand why they both can't race at 1400m. Imagine the hype surrounding that. BC's connections don't seem to be interested in a match race between the two

and yes, don't bother with Timeform.. joke of a system
The europeans love 4 horse fields over 4000 metres in the rain with no one watching.... Snore.. and when all silent can win at ascot... well, BC will win in a boring canter, like in adelaide.

Not near as much as Frankel...

True. But will anything they throw challenge her up to 1,200m?
I reckon she'd run a mile fine, if trained to it.
She's a sprinter though, and the best. If they throw nothing at her, not her fault. If trained to a mile, even in one prep, she'd box them.

Rod. That means Frankel, the 1600-2000 horse will step out of it's comfort zone. No one wants to budge. These horses are completely different and I don't see why they would ever meet. One is a sprinter, the other a middle distance horse.
One has proven it's a miler-middle distance. BC has not proven that, due to the connections padding it over 1200 in shit fields. 2000m cox plate please.... will it happen? Probably not.

The only way Frankel gets beat is if one of his 4 pace makers.(in a 5 horse field) decides to take off early and the ambulance carries him over in first...

I agree, easily step up to a mile. You'd imagine anyway. She did have to work at 1400 to beat Hay List though...seemed to lose her way with the extra 200m...
However, it's not her fault. You're right.Losing a race isn't the end of the world, especially with BC (no stud value).... but Moody is so scared about losing...
Frankel can't lose. An unbeaten Sire, in europe is huge. Most retire at 2/3 when they are unbeaten and straight off to stud.

1,400 would be logical. Meet half way. BC all the way

The thing is... most of BC's opposition would not win a race in Europe. Only Hay List... however, Frankels opposition would dominate australian middle distance races... Their 2nd tier stayers are dominating right now.

Hay List would have smashed all the European sprinters.
Europe is overrated.Sprinters anyway. Not sure Frankel's opposition would be dominating.

Canford Cliffs, Goldikova.... would hammer anything running in australia at 1600-2400..... Mangihar and that other thing that won on saturday are dominating.. They were 2nd rate stayers in England.
and yes, Hay List would clean them up. European sprinting =...... useless

Middle distance in this country has been quite weak for a number of years

black caviar is the most overrated horse since grand armee. She has a winning streak but other than hay list has never beaten a decent horse. Put her in the lightning against Fastnet Rock and alinghi and ill start to rate her as one of the best ever

That will do me. This sport is no better than the WWE. What joy does it do the refs and league in general to help out the Maroons, people want a competitive series you morons.
Shit is enough to put me off this game in general, just a shocking decision to award that try to Inglis, even after it was knocked out by the boot it hit his forearm, 2 knock-ons in a row and they green light it. Game was orchestrated for Queensland right from the Jennings sendoff...
Couldn't have said it better, Ill bet because i am a degen but all passion has gone from the game, by far the worst refed game i have scene.

Sure has. Even us NZ'ers can get a win from time to time, although usually in the winterless? brisbane.....
Some good horses running at the moment, all seem to be young.
Sizzling. Seems to be battling then bam, let's down...
Mental is quite good, but might not have too much scope about it.
The 2yo/3yo crop of last season hasn't produced much. Helmut, Smart Missle etc, just didn't kick on as well... Uate and all those ones haven't done anything since either.
Hard to tell with those young ones, so better to sell them to HK early :)
