These referees in the NRL are the biggest scum in life u will ever see.
I hope they get the biggest fucking Karma there way
Its 34 -6 with 5 mins remaining, Mel put a bomb up, Inglis contests it fair and sqaure, the NQC full back knocks it back and Slater gets it and scores.............
The commentators even said no problem try, no they give a penalty...
Yet last night, when it was 8-0 to Eels, Turner got hammered going for a bomb and its play on.
Just a question...
Rod, do u think the Melbourne Salary Cap scandal is the only thing that would shock the public that happens in the NRL?
Hahahaha

This is just a snippet of Rostos' body of work in the conspiracy theory department.
Here he is on youtube spouting about another apparent imminent threat to all that is good : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7mDa_8bSUY&feature=related

good observation.
There's two very conflicting ideologies on this in terms of television and radio commentary.
You listen to the ABC coverage of a game with David Morrow and Warren Ryan and they will absolutely batter the officials for their mistakes.
Television though takes a very soft line on highlighting referee errors, even going to the extent sometimes of not showing replays of incidents and harping on them. Its only really the 'independent' type guys like Phil Gould who really get stuck in from time to time.
Its fairly obvious to understand why - given the TV rights deals ect that bind their commentators while the ABC on the other hand is completely obligation free in terms of doing the NRL and its officials any favours.

The thing that infusriates me the most is this........
When refs in the middle makes mistakes....i can live with that...
They are fatigued which impacts decision making, they maybe looking at something else, a different angle etc etc...Just like players make mistakes then referees will continue to make them, that is life. Players make mistakes for the similar reasons i mentioned for refs.....It has for the past 100 years and will for the next 100 years.
What infuriates me is the video ref......
The vid ref should not make errors as they are not impacted by the factors i mentioned above.
The vid ref can have replay after replay after damn replay.
They are not fatigued, they have a multitude of angles.
Now, sometimes there are extremely difficult decsisions to be made due to frames missing, and in those, u say, i can live with either way he goes. When something is clear cut and the commentators (who collectively are journalists who have watched thousands of games and players who have watched collectively thousands and played thousands of games) give a unanimous decision and 99.9% of people agree with these commentators and yet the vid ref says something else is what i cannot handle.
This means one of two things for me.
The commentators and audience dont know the rules or have visual impairments or the vid ref has a bet on the game - dont laugh, didnt the goal umpire in the AFL have a bet? If those umpires do it, then i am sure league refs do to.
That is what makes me lose it.
In the Mel Cows game i had a rant about, all commentators said, yep, no problem with that, green light, even the cowboys players were behind the goal posts waiting for the kick after the replay was shown.....Every single fucking person thought it was a try...except the vid ref.
Now as i said, it comes down to 2 things, the commentators and public and players dont know the rules or the official is corrupt.
U decide...

Hampstead = fucking idiot
Cooley = fucking idiot
Ceccin = the guy Andrew Johns got suspended for two weeks for calling him a touch judge.

He and Morrow bitch way too much about the officiating during the call which ruins the call IMO. Ok to discuss after the game but both love to lay into the refs at every opportunity
