Hey Rod!
Long time, no time!
Been hitting well this season on AFL and want a dabble.
Which do you reckon is a better play at same odds: Dogs or Swans to Make the Top 4?
Swans schedule is easiest on the docket, with their double-ups all weak sides. Plus, Brissy and Richmond are out of the way.
Dogs look good but could’ve blown the Pies match had Collingwood not had 16 brain farts on the final term. They also scraped by the Eagles and looked dull for the first quarter and a half against the Roos. Their schedule is also not enviable.
Public and stat machines say Dogs. Head and scheduling says Swans.
This is the season of run and gun, youth. Older squads look dire out there with these new rule changes. Port, Richmond, Geelong, all long in the tooth sides looking shaky. Brisbane much of the same.
So, who do you reckon taking into consideration the above is the better bet?
Thanks mate.

Swans youth but more importantly style of play this season thus far has been incredible to watch. Tough one, think Swans hit the wall at some point this season. Probably lean Dogs but without thinking about it in great detail.

I'll take a look at the scheduling HoH and get back to you. I don't really play long term futures so haven't looked far ahead more than a few weeks tbh

That’s garbage. I live in the US. Can’t watch the games. I got to watch a few last year when we had no sports. Now I follow online or listen to em. I learned the little I did from my Aussie buddy who moved here. I base my plays off of movement. But to get 12 points in that short time. Is garbage on my end

I jumped on the Swans. I just didn’t like the Dogs scheduling. I’ve watched just about every match this season and the Dogs have capitalized on poor execution late from a couple of them, Collingwood especially. I really liked the Dogs last season. The Treloar addition could be was pushed them over the hump. That said, Swans have the nicest schedule in the league and I’m hoping they don’t blow the winnable matches.
Youth usually counts against you in this league, but this season, conditioning will play a huge part as running off halfback has become a major addition. Notice the younger teams like Sydney and Melbourne are off and running, no pun intended, while old boys like Geelong and Richmond are struggling. Brisbane is having a shocker too as their older players haven’t adjusted. Poor Neale.
Plus, as a Swans membership holder, it only adds to the fun.
Let me know what you think after you look at the scheduling.
