sad to see you're on the public side tonight rod :(
a question i ask is...everyone here in nz thinks the highlanders will win...smash infact....why has the tab not altered the odds one bit all week? it's been sitting here @ 1.75 begging for public action.
I think the bookies know that the team that everyone wrote off before the season is here to play, and they will beat everyones 2nd favourite team the highlanders tonight
gl though rod, much respect

To be honest when it comes to the footy I don't bother about where the line moves or what the public is doing. I just cap what I see in front of me
Highlanders had the letdown game last week which is a large reason why I opposed them against the Tahs however they were able to squeak past even though they were fairly poor and one could even argue the Tahs were the better team on the day. That is a sign of a very well drilled team IMO.
Agree that the Hurricanes have so far surpassed all the pre season expectations of them, they were impressive in both their games in Sth Africa and then of course smashed the Farce last Friday. But this is a tough spot for them IMO, first game at home this season having travelled on the road for the first 3 weeks. I'm looking for the Highlanders to really dominate at the breakdown and that is going to put a lot of pressure on the young Canes halves IMO.

see the breakdown will be interesting...hammett has the opposite approach of joseph to breakdown he commits very little on offense...and virtually none to the breakdown on defense. The highlanders will look to exploit this BUT Hammett is a mastermind imo and will reverse his game plan at the breakdown to night

Fucken Reds shit the bed. That final minute of the First Half did them in. Also losing their two kickers didn't help either. Seeing Genia miss a penalty right in front of the sticks was painful.
