The big question is, are we going to see 8 unders in a row now? Not just talking about these games where they have fallen short by 2-4 points..........I mean games barely reaching 30 points?
Only 1 had reached 40 points (Knights Titans)....The rest arent even close........
I mean, seriously, what has happened? I have noticed the refs have swallowed there whistles, also seeing refs allowing defenders to lay all over the player with the ball, slowing the play the ball....which makes a huge difference...
When did this change occur? When the refs got together at there mid week training and said lets start just betting unders for the next 2 weeks - no one blow penalties and slow the game down?
Cause that is what i am seeing here.........
9 of the last 11 have gone under......of the 2 that went over, 1 was a 90 metre run with 5 secs left on the clock to make it go over (Morris) against the Tigs......
The only legit over was the Panthers Manly game.........
Otherwise we will be looking at 10 of last 11 going way way under........
Its not as if the previous games were going over at a higher rate anyway, it was always around 50/50 with a slight bias towards under
The line tonight is 40.5.........

one trend I've noticed across a range of sports (haven't tracked or recorded anything) is that when a team snaps a losing run, a la the Bulldogs last week, they usually follow it up with positive performance the following match.

I'm sure the Dogs are going to put points on the board it's whether they can keep points off the board that will determine if they cover the spread. Barba is a defensive liability, no doubt. Huge game for both teams in terms of their faint finals hopes so expecting a high scoring but close contest...
