NSW win by 1-12 margin@ 3.65 Centrebet
All the talk is that this is Lockyer's last Origin game and that the
QLDers are going to win it for them, as they need any more incentive
than they have had in the past, with wanting to beat NSW. All the hype
can both ways, either they find that extra bit something they never had
before or the emotion of the game gets to them, and they try too much,
and they play a below par game. QLD will come out like they always do,
and with over 50,000 supporters behind them, they will come at NSW.
To the Blues credit, they nearly won the first Origin game, with less
possession and field position, and it was just in the last 10 minutes
that they lost it. In the second game, they had pretty much equal amount
of ball and they were far too strong for QLD, as they dominated for
majority of the game. They have nothing to lose, and are not expected to
win given the build up for this game, but if they get an equal amount
of ball, they can win this, as their more mobile forwards will be able
to last the whole game while bigger QLD pack may start to feel it in
the last 20 minutes.
It should be a great game and there is not much between the sides, but
like NSW to edge this, and break a drought of outs in the origin
series. Not all fairy tales have a happy ending
