The ONLY argument Taylor had was on the grading.

Uate's was a grade 1, Taylor's was deemed a grade 2. Uate got no loading, as he didn't have any prior similar offences. He then took the early guilty plea and, given current judiciary rules, he didn't receive enough points to miss a game.

Taylor got a grade 2. Then with loading pertaining to previous similar offences, got 5 weeks. He then could have had that reduced by a week if he plead guilty, but they chose to fight it and they lost.

There is no conspiracy. If Taylor didn't have prior similar offences, he would never have been facing 5 weeks.

As I said, given current judiciary rules, he copped what he deserved. 


doesn't matter, Uate and Taylor's tackles were identical but of course the former gets a grade one and the Queenslander gets five weeks. 

Up here we just take this blatant cheating from south of the border as par for the course. It only makes it 10x sweeter when we triumph

I'm not debating the severity of either charge. All I'm saying is that the processes of the judiciary and Taylor's priors resulted in the 5 weeks - not voodoo dolls and witchcraft

I recall Queensland naming a wing spot as TBA once so Lote could serve a suspension in a club game. Cheating fuckers forced the NRL to change the rule on that one.

Well not sure how that game would have gone without tony archer. hmmmm.

Rostos u called it down the middle. NRL wont let QLD lose and Darren go out on a down. My god not sure tony could have done a better job of making sure of the result.

When you really think about it, you'd have to be a brave man to bet against Queensland on Lockyer's farewell game in Brisbane. There would have been a riot if the Maroons lost. The stats don't lie in Origin games involving the Archer (QLD 8 - NSW 2)...
