There's something seriously wrong with a finals system that allows you to finish 6th, lose 10-40 in the first week of the finals and still make the grand final

Manly will shit the grand final in next sunday. That is unless NZ is allowed to stand a metre and a half offside all night like they did tonight

there's no way nz was virtually perfect in that game - but the memo from NRL hq this week was clearly to give the coconuts a bit of leeway

Manly are far from a shoe-in. Beating a Lockyer-less Broncos squad in Sydney doesn't really warrant much.

Warriors the streakiest side in the comp, be it winning or losing and it appears they're winning right now...

Detect quite the bitterness from the Turkey. Warriors were clearly the better side except in the first 5 minutes. If it's any consolation, Brisbane would have won the comp if they only played the finals games at Suncorp...

Yeah the McIntyre system as used by the NRL certainly has it's flaws.

Sometimnes I think the AFL system is better, but it isn't perfect either I guess.

The onlt fairy and perfect system was the top 5 that the nrl had back in the 80s and early 90s

It actually amazes me how, with their pack (on paper), they manage to bash sides. But they do.
