i think the sport where you are given dedicated possession as opposed to constantly fighting for possession is the "lite" version

also to say that nobody outside of new zealand likes rugby is an unbelievably ignorant comment and have obviously not seen how passionate countries such as argentina, wales and ireland are about their rugby. not to mention the fact that so many countries desperately try and get the rights to host the world cup.

as for international rugby league....

lol? we play some of the most watchable rugby in the world, blow up nz and then the northern hemisphere gets their way and you will see 1 try every 2nd week if you're lucky.

I mean, are you using how popular a sport is? If so, you can only really use Soccer, Basketball and dare i say union would be the next popular TEAM sport in the world?

Actually cricket is much bigger than union on the global stage?
