In all honesty, the only way to win in the NRL is to wait till half time, which ever team is behind on the board, espcially by more than a converted try, take them to either win or with the second half spread..
In all honesty, these referees do not referee the game, they manage the game, It seems they have a responsibility to the stake holders to TRY and make every game as case as possible with there whislte.
I find it absurd that MANLY were PERFECT in the second half, i mean PERFECT....
The ref just wanted to make the game closer.....Its as simple as that.
Again, i dont expect this to be 100% fool proof, but i reckon u would win alot more than u would lose.
I reckon u will hit around 60 - 65% with this strategy.
These referees influence a large portion on the outcome of the game. At the end of the day, they can pull a whistle for a penalty for whatever they want. The ruck is so subjective that it is hard for them to measure against anything.
Anyways, that is my oponion.
Otherwise, if u want to bet at the start, u are just subjecting yourself to the team u backed
1. Whether they turn up or not.
2. The bounce of the ball
3. What 1st half best the refs have placed

Agreed Rostos.... You'll find teams down by 12-28 points always make a comeback in the 2nd half.. didn't happen in the storm game last night but hits more often than not.
