I normally wait till round 3 to place bets. but can't help myself.

Pick: Storm -7.5
Reason: Storm @ home is always a solid pick and i favor them to get out of the blocks quick this week. The Rabbits looked good last week but the chooks are no STORM. The super 4 of Cronk,Slater, Smith and now Widdop will the the bunnies pack running all day. i definitly see more than a try in this and wouldn't be surprised to see the storm start there home campain with a solid DD win.

has me Ticking the warriors box for sure. Warriors will continue to tease us all year but this is one where they can get out and not look back. I see points here and split on both sides. The Warriors had Manly last week and looked very good but loose hands and ill timed errors saw them drop the opener. The Eels has Brissy and were stomped on BAD, they had there moments but the Warriors are a top 4 team and i see the EELs fighting this season to not hold the spoon.
as I'm firing a stinker in that category ATM and i feel more than comfortable to take the Raiders even they they're giving up 3.5 to start.
