ManU/Southampton - Doing something different here. Books seem to expect Manu domination in a high-scoring affair. Expect to see 1 goal in the 1H so will take some form of that live but what I see value on here is Alejandro Garnacho. Currently he’s involved in some rumors about a potential move away from Old Trafford, possibly to Napoli to replace Kvaratskhelia. Think this could be a dress rehearsal for him or nonetheless a huge opportunity to let out some frustration after being dropped to the bench under Amorim. Dude always struck me as someone who has an eye for the goal, sometimes a bit selfish, and that bodes well for this game as Southampton has given up a ton of shots (see Brentford game). Took Garancho 5+ shots at +235 and 2+ SOG at +200 as I expect him to find the net today as he did as a sub last game out in injury team.
Good luck!

Not sure what to expect but think we should see 6-7+ shots from ManU alone in the 1H. Think 1 should breach but who knows with this team. Could easily be up 2-0 3-0 or need a late goal to salvage something late

As a soccer enthusiast just wanted to point out Ante Budimir. Dude’s been solid for Osasuna the past couple seasons but he’s been BALLING OUT this season. Every time I check Osasuna games he has a goal or two with 3-4 shots and 2+ SOG. Some ways like Vardy in that no matter the circumstance he’s a good bet to get shots. Will be making plays on him in the future.

Been a bit hesitant taking Madrid games because I just don’t know what to expect. Quick glance, last 10 games for Madrid have had 3+ goals and after the defensive debacle and humiliation against Barca I wonder if Ancelotti will dial it back. I would expect Madrid to come out on fire but I’ve been let down by them in the 1H so much this season I’d rather wait and see. Plus the first two games went way over the expected totals. Most likely a live play if any.

Yea I got screwed since the weekend with 1H overs before the goal explosions in the second half. If no goal think pushing heavy on 1+ goal in 2H would be the play.
@Skyfall
Love it. The shots total had the much better odds for me so would be a great cash whether or not the SOG hits but hopefully both!

You think weather has something to do with this recent trend? I’ve seen it all over Europe and I don’t get how you can see 12+ shots in one half without a goal this consistently. And if I was a ManU fan I’d be going crazy.

Such a ManU thing to do. I think this time of the season if a good time to fade some heavyweights. We saw it with Kiel on Tuesday and Southampton today. Dortmund, ManU these teams are what they are. Inspired performances against top sides only cover the real issues brewing at the bottom.
Btw Tyler Dibling is a baller.

Yesss I think we have a solid shot at this! Was worried Amorim would hook him but I don’t think they have many other options on the bench left so he may play the full 90+!

I jumped on the total cards in the Madrid game at 2.5. Not sure why it’s so low but if you take the look at the first two matches (and most of the Copa del Rey) matches in general, cards tend to fly in these knockout tournaments. I didn’t see this as a runaway win for Madrid so I think it’ll be tight and cagey with fouls and dark arts tactics picking up in the 2H. Didn’t put too much on but think it’s worth a stab at -120.
