Frankfurt/Dortmund - Had alternated up on Marmoush’s total shots and SOG as all indications by the manager prior to lineups being announced was that he would be in the squad for this significant domestic match so a bit disappointed to see he’s been held out. Was expecting him to show out with a brace or hat trick in an unofficial goodbye to the Eagles similar to what Gyokeres did in Amorim’s last game in charge in Champs League. Btw City is getting a heck of a player for a tidy and very reasonable fee. Seriously disappointed that Pool didn’t pull the trigger on him to possibly replace Salah as the Egyptian connection would have made a fantastic story too but great business by City. As for today’s game decided to ladder up on Hugo Ekitike’s total shots at 4 and 5 both for plus money. Marmoush’s shots have to go somewhere and this kid has taken his game a step up from last season with 8/3 G/A. He seems to know that he may be next for a move seeing that he took 9(!) shots last game. Problem is I don’t think he’s as clinical as Marmoush so think the total shots is a better play than SOG. That being said I was expecting complete domination by Frankfurt today IF Marmoush was playing but seeing that he’s not I’m not so sure what way this will go. Reminds me of the Luka Jovic situation some years back when he made the move to Real in the summer and Frankfurt seemed to take a step back for a couple seasons. Taking a player as significant as Marmoush out of the club in the middle of the season could be hugely detrimental. If I’m on anything today it would have to be live.
Good luck!
