Soccer Play of the Week Contest for Week 1

~Only 1 play will be counted. If you want to change your play, do so w/ enough time before your original match begins.

~Include the Date of the match, team or total, and your price and Sportsbook for your pick in American odds.  Only Moneylines, Draws, Asian Handicaps (spreads) and over/under bets between -400 to +400 will be accepted.  No parlays or prop bets will be allowed.

~All plays are to win/risk 100.

~Post your pick at least 1 hour before start of match. 

~Minimum 20 weeks of participation required to be ranked at the end of the 6 month contest 

~ A pushed bet will count as a tie for the week and no further bets are allowed until the following week.

Example of an acceptable posted pick:

1/5   Chelsea ML -350 (5dimes)

Examples of an unacceptable pick:

Tuesday, Chelsea ML 

Chelsea to score 4 or more goals

1/5  Chelsea ML -500 

If I dont have a date, or a proper price in American odds, I will remind you the first time.  After that, it will count as a NO PICK for the week.

~The contest will run weekly from January 2nd through June 30, 26 weeks.  Beginning Week #8, the contest will be closed to new players, as it will not be possible to accumulate 20 picks necessary for the final rankings.

~The next Contest will begin July 1, 2012 and will run through December 31st.

~The winner will be decided by the highest number on units won, regarless of W/L record.

DJ, a new wrinkle we are implementing this season is to also include the Book you got the price at.  It will help those who are watching this contest if they would like to tail, it keeps us accountable, and it gives us a chance to see where each other are making plays or are getting their plays from.

I will be using 5dimes, bet365, theGreek and my local (Betez) to get my lines, although I only bet through 5dimes and my local.
