Manchester United/Ipswich Town - Not a fan of MUFC by any means but I expected much more from the team when Amorim took over. To say that both he and his former club Sporting should’ve stayed together and seen at least this season through would be an understatement as I thought Sporting could possibly make a run in CL a la the 2018-2019 Ajax squad who was ironically coached by ETH. Since Amorim took over, he’s compiled a 5/0/5 record at home, only beating a struggling Dyche-led Everton by 1+ goals during that time. The rest of the home victories include a 2H comeback to see out Bodo Glimt, a miracle last minute hat trick by Diallo for a bailout win over relegation-bound Southampton, and extra time winners needed to see off Rangers and Leicester City FC. I read a few weeks back that the unhappiness and restlessness in the Old Trafford stands every home match is a significant factor in MU’s awful home form and it’s hard not to believe so. Diallo’s season-ending injury is such a killer blow for this team who required his heroics on more than one occasion this season to salvage points; without his performances they would seriously be in a relegation battle, something I never thought I’d write in my lifetime. Ipswich has had some luck go against them including last week where I thought had they got onto the front foot early, they definitely would’ve picked up a point or more, so I don’t quite understand this +1 spread (-109). ManU SHOULD NOT be getting more than a goal right now against any team. Can’t see this attack running teams out of the building or keeping clean sheets. Last week, Liam Delap got off to a scorching start, hitting the target and the post in the first 6 minutes on his way to 2 SOG on 5 shots in the first 25 minutes of the game. His luck, and his team’s, will flip soon. He’s one of the league leaders in SOG and he hit the target twice on 3 shots in Amorim’s debut at Portman Road. Give me Delap 2+ SOG (+400).
Tott/City - Expecting a wide open encounter here with plenty of shots on both sides. How often have you seen City shut out? Actually when have you seen City shut out at home? Even when they lose, they go down swinging. I know Tottenham’s been City’s kryptonite throughout Pep’s career (probably prevented him from adding a couple more trophies to his case including possibly another coveted CL) but my gut feeling tomorrow is that City will get the win here. But that’s not my play. I’m going to continue riding the Djed Spence train with 2+ shots (+491) and 1+ SOG (+500). The 1+ SOG smacked over the weekend and has hit in his last 3 matches so I’m not sure why the price has not adjusted accordingly. Since his insertion into the starting lineup in mid December, the kid has arguably been Tottenham’s best player, injecting youth and energy into an injured and fatigued squad. Ange LOVES using his wingbacks (Porro) to aid in his attack, and City can’t control the midfield meaning it will continue to concede a healthy amount of chances. Funny enough Spence has yet to clear 2+ shots since starting. Think that has a good chance to end tomorrow. Also loving Kulusevski’s assist ladder (1+ @ +400 and a sprinkle on 2+ @+2900). Son has more assists but Dejan’s arguably been the creator/facilitator of that attack. He got an assist on 3 chances created in the reverse fixture at the Etihad and picked up both assists in City’s crash out of the EFL cup. He has a history of scoring or assisting against City, and after scoring last match, feel like he’ll turn provider today. And yea I’ll be on the 1H over runner in this game if the opportunity allows.

BOL today man. Consider Beto today as well. He is priced on DK for 3 shots at +110(-150 B365, cleared past 3 games), other books way off. Also considering his SOT, 2 is +162(cleared the past 4 games) on B365. Anyway just food for thought.

Tailing on that Beto play. Noticed he had been scoring some goals but didn't realize he was thriving this much under Moyes, which is great to see. Dude was a beast for Udinese and I thought he'd thrive in bigger leagues but didn't think things were panning out for him at Everton. Dude has the tools to be a complete striker. Great suggestion. I want to jump on the 3+ SOT, too, especially since they're playing Brentford and there should be chances.
@Fuse @monkeebooger
Thanks fellas. Much appreciated. ManU has had some crazy stat where they haven't scored in the 1H in their last 11 out of 12 matches or something. Just something nuts. 1H spread play on Ipswich might not be a bad play but just in case there's some flukey goal probably better to stick with the whole game spread. Good luck!

Had to put the baby down to sleep so couldn't write this up in time but hoping some people caught Haaland's shots props today. Not sure what the reason is but 5+ shots @ +169, 6+ shots @ +322, 2+ SOG @ -108, 3+ SOG @ +350, and 4+ SOG @ +900 is waaaay down from what his usual props are. Tott's putting out a rotated squad and Doku, Savinho, and Marmoush are all creators. Haaland's fresh after coming back from a 2-game absence so I'm expecting the league leader SOT to have a good outing today.

Boy o boy o boy. Haaland CASHES the 2+ SOG in the first 12 minutes AND got my push despite the heavier juice than I would've liked on the 1H over 1. Got ~80min to get the 2 more SOT for a pretty pay day.

Taking Danso to get booked (+511). He already could've been booked for a pullback. That speed upfront is going to cause him issues as his legs tire deeper into the match and he's battling with Haaland. He was a yellow card magnet in Ligue 1 and I'm a bit surprised he hasn't been booked in England yet. He's due.
On a side note, of course Manchester United scores 2 in the 1H after I brought up their awful 1H scoring stats. EDIT: didn't realize ManU's now a man down LOL. Think that spread bet will be safe.

So Spence didn’t start the bet is voided? Draftkings states selected player must take part in match for the bet to stand. Doesn’t make sense to what you are saying

My book stipulates (uses the same prop builder as the one on Bovada) that a player must be in the starting lineup otherwise the bet is void. Don't have DK/FanDuel in CA so can't say about the rules there =/. Sorry!

Yea I'm so sorry about that. I thought most books had the same rule. When I went London to watch Tott play, I took Son to score a hattrick amongst other bets and he came on in the 2H and actually scored the hattrick but LadBrokes wouldn't honor the bet since he didn't start. Missed out on a huge payday. If that's the case with DK, I'd wait to take the props I suggest until lineups are confirmed. It sucks when you only have 30minutes max to hit these props if they come off the bench smh. Sorry again.

I respect that. The one angle looked like it hit Haaland in the bicept, but the other angle like you said and should have been PK.. Ehh whatever it's done and dusted now. We power on to tomorrow.

That's interesting. 99% of the time if a player sees the pitch in soccer, player props stand. I havent seen it any other way, but always did think it was ridiculous.
Bet365 was the only ones I knew that had an option to void the leg if the player didn't start. Kinda crazy

Interesting. My first experience with soccer player props was with English books (they literally have one on every corner of the street lol) so I thought this was the universal rule. And then Bovada implements the same rule so I never assumed otherwise but I guess every book is different. Feels like robbery to have a player’s props count even if they only see the pitch for a minute. Pretty sus now that I think of it as they rarely offer unders on soccer players.
@Cmlee123
Yea Reijndeer’s always a good one. Seems like he’s lining up behind Gimenez today instead playing deeper according to Sofascore lineups. I took Bowen SOT today. Leicester has given up goals to forwards/strikers for several weeks. Never sure because Kudus could think today’s the perfect opportunity to get on the stat sheet so he could end up ball hogging.
