Juventus/Verona - In 2 weeks, Juventus’ project blew up with unexpected bowouts to PSV and Empoli in the CL and Coppa Italia, respectively. Thiago Motta called out his players saying they need to go back to understanding what it means to wear the shirt. This is an optimal smash spot for me: at home against a Verona side who’s given up goals all season but has been on a “streak” holding their last two opponents to 1 goal total. Taking 1H over 1, 0.75 if I can and leaning towards taking Juventus over 1.5 goals. Remember Atalanta faced this same Verona side a few weeks back after that crash out of CL and put up 5 on them. Seeing something similar here.
