if you've watched Milan play over the course of the last 7 matches and then looked at Barcelona's matches over the same period, you had to at least of had a sniff of something occurring like this.
Milan has been playing at the top of their game ... they are fighting for a champions leage spot domestically and have been in top form. The problem with Barca is with the league already in the bag, they have been just going through the motions ....
Those types of things lead to these results. I'm pissed as hell that the over didn't cash ... I am a Milan fan but I did not expect Milan to blank Barca. Milan defended well, closed down all spaces and left Barca's big 3 no room to play their ticky tack style of football.
No fix ... just one team with better form playing a team going through the motions and one could argue, not playing at the top of their game. Then again, San Siro is one of the toughest places to play in Europe.
We all get pissed when we lose bets... heck I am too ... and while soccer games are rigged all the time, this was not the case... this was simply a case of a team hearing they had no chance for the last two weeks showing the world they had every chance in the world to pull the upset. My only hindsight error was not laying at least some beer money on my beloved AC Milan.
