Yessir. I concur. Seems there were two matches the refs really helped these matches go right away to penalties. For various reasons, but mostly hitting that draw, then the side.

Canada goalie obviously far more clutch (although it was close--just one pk)

But the Uruguay match looked CROOKED.

I don't like to bet at all, but I didn't want to touch a match with Paqueta (defender Brasil) since he is under investigation for fixing PROPS--apparently yellow card props. He picked up a stupid yellow card, and I thought, oh SNAP, he is doing it again, esp with a referee whose last match in Saudi Arabia Championship (with Ronaldo vs Neymar) this ref gave out 40 fous and like 14 yellows and two reds....

Uruguay had 3+ chances, on typical possesion turnovers and rapid breakaways they are known to do,,,,but always kicking wide ......argh it looked like Uruguay had a plan to go to PKs.

Ref helped them do this by utilizing clock with so many fouls...the red card sealed it, because they all knew Brasil had no attack w/o Neymar et al.....

It was the worst match of COPA, but it looked RIGGED, too. For me, this is why it looked so terrible..

 the ref in englands game tomorrow, zwayer,  served a 6 month ban for match fixing and it was concealed by the german federation for 10 years.  it  happened a while ago. he wasnt the main culprit but that guy was banned for life. i think bellingham might have been involved in the game lol. i didnt read the whole article. but this is what england needs

 Yeah, these refs can determine a game, esp linesmen...they're human. Tonalli would have helped Italy in these Euros but banned for betting on mtches, as much as Ivan Toney, and these players are in the EPL, supposedly the top in Europe, so imagine the corruption all the way down.....Would be extremely hard to catch a ref.....

There will never be a way to stop corruption, esp not with gambling on sports spreading so fast. it will get worse.

Agree with you on Argentina. When a side is better, they simply are, and the only flaw I see in Argentina is a tendency to do something (I don't know what...) that allows the opposition too much space maybe, but they allow late goals when they have a lead. If that's their worst flaw, well, they're human beings. That might come bck to wake them up in the next match, vs Uruguay or Colombia, but I simply can't see that in this match at all.
