If we didn’t make a play we don’t lose a point but if we did make a play and lost, does the loss count ?
I rushed home from plowing snow Monday and felt lucky there was a game left to make a play on. I never thought to look for a post telling me our regular rules were contingent on Christmas.

to be honest i only posted a play monday cause i thought i was free rolling and thought even if my play loses i wont lose a unit. i dont see how its fair that if u dont post a play u dont get penalized but if u do post and u lose ur penalized but whatever i dont care enough to make a big deal of it.... if there was a prize or something for winning this contest i would care and make a big deal

I had no idea of the one day rule change.
If I did, I wouldn't have made a play. I never would have driven from one town to another in the snow just to make a soccer play.

This is the worst I've seen people complain for a contest that's free. It all started with a certain someone that cant be named. Jim thx for what you do. Contest is for fun and to see who does it better.

It says right in the header of the John Doe matches..............ALL POSTING RULES APPLY. How there could be a tantrum thrown about it is baffling to me.
We all might not agree with every decision you have made as commish Jimmy, but it goes without saying that I for one appreciate all the work you have put into keeping the CPL alive and respect and will follow any judgements you make. I hope you will reconsider leaving the commish duties.
I will continue to keep score as I have always done, and if need be will do anything I can to keep the league going

Hey Jim, just wanted to say thank you for all your time and effort in running the CPL and the CCL. I hope you reconsider your decision. Perhaps this is a wake up call that this contest is for fun and should be treated as such. Perhaps with the new year comes a fresh start? Again your efforts are much appreciated

jim just answer their question once.. and sit back and laugh at them like i do. its never the old school guys biatching like little girls. i sit here in amazement wondering how some of these people get through life. they cant follow the most basic rules on a FUN AND FREE internet contest. jesus chrst we re not on parris island here. does it say ANYWHERE in the rules you dont have to make a play before midnight if you arent playing anyone? nope..nope it doesnt. could you really not see what jim was doing on xmas? you couldnt see he was just giving a break to people who might want to watch their kids open xmas gifts god forbid and take a day off from the internet. did he say anywhere you can make a play and if it loses it doesnt count?? why the fck would he do that why the fck would you assume that? we ALL had the same benefit take a day off with no penalty. holy sht people. and no you cant make a play at 12:02 on sunday because you had to restart your phone . fck me you had 168 hours to make sundays play this week..here s an idea!!! dont wait till 11:59 because believe it or not...phones, computers, sites...guess what?? they do freeze! i know i know its hard to believe. .

I am guilty of this sometimes also but if everyone would State their W/L and units won either daily or at least on Saturday or Sunday would make JJs job a lot easier.
