Back for a couple of friendlies for Friday;

1. Armenia +2.5 @ 2.12/+112 (INT f) 1 Unit

Germany are concerned with banged up Neuer, Lahm & Schweinsteiger. I do not see Low risking them in a meaningless friendly. Germany should win easily but by 3 ??? Last time that happened in a friendly for Germany was in 2011. That was also the last time Armenia lost by more than 2 in a friendly. Armenia are not that bad of a side they tied Italy, beat Denmark & the Czech republic last year in meaningful WCQ games all AWAY from home.

2. Mexico to DRAW @ 3.30/+230 (INT f) 1 Unit

Without Ronaldo Portugal are an average side at best & that is likely what we will see in this matchup where both sides want to stay healthy. The Mexicans will start their strongest side after a dismal game versus Bosnia. I was tempted to take Mexico to win outright but I just don't see any of these sides pressing hard for a victory.

DJ.....I'm starting to see a very unique trend from years past. " Friendlies " used to be a way for teams to build confidence going into the World Cup.  Put a few lame ducks on your schedule and hammer them by 5 or 6 goals. Now, it seems that managers are just trying to protect their key players from injury, as you mentioned. A lot of the power house teams seem to be going through the motions.

FADE THE EUROPEAN BIG SIDES

The long national seasons tend to tire out the stars, & Euro teams always have more WC & EC qualification games

Kind of obvious why try too shoot for the moon, testing tactics is the trend.

I usually play the Asian Handicap on the dogs as the public will always back the team with the 'NAME"

It's a friendly, what better way to be so than to end up level...teams don't press at the end of the match to score the winner because it does not matter

Yet another great insight! will try to put by bucks on Mexico to draw with Portugal (knowing that Pepe and Ronaldo are sidelined). 

I do agree with your 4 rules, love unders in friendlies. I feel very good about your Armenia pick, especially since we most likely will concede 1 or 2 goals.

Here is cheering that Germany wins 3-2........I posted that game as an over 3 1/2 goals at even money back on Tuesday as my play of the week. I do agree the Armania will play andhas played with some fiestyness and no quit.......

Will be cheering we both cash.....and at the very least that you cash your ticket.
