Yep. Or even not rewarded a point at all for a nil nil match. Remember this is still sports entertainment. I have been to an EPL match once. It was glorious. But you know what made it glorious? The match ended 3-1. Hell even if it ended 1 nil. But if I flew halfway around the world, spent a few hundred pounds and saw a lifeless nil nil match with very little true intent to score I would be bummed to say the least. The idea that has always floated about was if a match ends in a draw of anything other than nil nil one point each. But if nil nil then zero points will be awarded. That stops these teams about the 65-70 mark to play for the nil nil draw instead of pushing for a goal.
