Ok, true story: when I went to Belgium in the fall of 2018 I mentioned to my friend that you like Fernet Branca so much and that I want to try it, it's classified as an "amaro" and we like that, so we go to this upscale grocery store and get a bottle. That shit ain't cheap. We get back to his place, have dinner and finally open this thing and pour two glasses. 

It is the vilest tasting godawful shit on the face of the earth, it's a mix of windshield washer fluid and gasoline. He couldn't even finish his glass, I downed mine like a trooper. He still has the rest of the bottle, it's a running joke now who's gonna finish it. 

I will say this: I slept like I was dead. But no way am I ever touching that shit again. 

Is it wine?

I can’t comment on wine, I like red and can drink a truck load but white is way to sweet for me.

It wishes it was wine. It's a liqueur made by psychedelic Italian monks. God only knows how it became widely available.

Alright, get a goddamn bottle (you're paying for it), invite me over, we'll go out for dinner whatever, then you will pour yourself one of these, and I want to watch and probably videotape when you drink it. 

I had absinthe from the Czech Republic with real wormwood in it in 2002 or so, illegal as fuck and I got weird visions from it. It tasted like shit. But not even close to this stuff. 

I'm going to bed, DC game is a dud.
