Any thoughts about this game? They are playing in the humidity of Miami. Warm temperature will not be a factor, it will be about 70 at start time. Humidity is 84%, which I think favors Guatemala. Miami will be a home field advantage away from home for Guatemala.
Vegas has Iceland as the strong favorite in a low scoring game. Guatemala loves playing that rough dirty style soccer and will bring it against Iceland...I personally am leaning on the underdog or possibly a draw....and I am considering taking the Team total over 1/2.....
Anybody on this game?

I pulled the trigger and took Guatemala.....Iceland will be without many of their normal starting lineup due to injury or not being released from their club teams. I know Guatemala has lost the last few games...but this might be the one where they squeak out a win.

I have to say....I am laughing already having turned on this game. Iceland players are getting put down all over the field, most with dirty play or maybe just bad play....They are already yelling at the refs about it. This is normal Concacaf soccer play...our U.S. men's team have to deal with this style on a regular basis. I remember when Brazil played one of those teams in Miami....Neymar was taken down over 10 times....afterwards he said "I survived". Iceland has never played Guatemala before, and probably no team from down that way....they have Honduras for their next adventure.

I knew it was a toss up....and a 1-0 showed as much, being scored in the 2nd half showed it. Yes, Iceland with with starters would have been an easy lean....but with their backups in and Guatamala playing counterstrike, with the odds....I thought I would go with the risk.......it was not a serious bet on my end, but more of a fun bet. The game was hilarious to watch. I turned over from the NFL game to watch it. I agree that both teams stink. Icelandic's play tough, but being used to European clean style and then going against this Concacaf central american style...even Icelandic "tough play" was not the toughest. I am a U.S. men's soccer supporter and watch those teams play often....I always laugh at what our team has to go through. El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatamala all play the same. Pending on the odds...I may take Honduras also (Iceland has them next).

Guatamala was the correct side. I jumped on them late friday night cause I knew the lines would drop overnight. which they did. But they didn't seize the moment and of course Iceland makes them pay with a late goal. Should have had the late equalizer.
Point being these are the games I love to bet on in international friendlies. An exhibition where the underdog has advantages. All Guatamala did was show us why they are Guatamala at the end of the day lol
Good luck next time
