Netherlands has the best defensive line. Best defender in the world Virgil in the center. A very athletic Manchester city prospect ake on back wing. And physical inter player dummfries on the other side.

Marocco will probably miss Aguerd in the middle defense - he went out injured against Spain. That will be a big loss for them. He´s been outstanding.
Defensively i don´t see Netherland as the strongest team at all. I think Van Dijk is far a way from the player he was last season. And i think Netherland has given up a lot of chances in the tournament. With just a little bit more concentration/luck USA could easily have scored 3 or even 4 against them. Although it might be an exiting game against Argentina, because the dutch offense have been extremely good - especially against the US - but they have created a lot of chances in all their matches. However it´s gonna be more difficult against a quite solid Argentina defense. Looking forward to that match - it might go to ekstratime.
So far Brazil have had the best defense - but they have also had the ball most of the time - so they haven´t really been tested that much. I see a quite easy win again against Croatia. After that anything can happen against either Netherland or Argentina. But Brazil is definately the one to beat.

well based on the fact that Netherlands only conceded two goals so far and against better opponents and Argentina conceded 3, 2 against true rubbish Saudi, and the other against semi rubbish aussie, VDD might not perform well with Liverpool this season but I still think he’s one of the best
for Argentina, their defense definitely not superb and with lot of question marks, otamendi is tough and physical , but slow, Romero still have some upside I believe but he’s not playing in a great defensive team(spurs), I actually rank them bottom half among remaining 8 teams
and if you compare this arg team to 2014 squad, I think 2014 have the best combination of defenders and d midfielders

I would put England in the top 3. They move the ball around as well as any team and stop break through rushes. Although maybe not quite as good around the box.
They have only given up 2 goals so far. Looking forward to their next game.

WC 1/8
remember no more garbage teams entering this round, and in fact no crazy upsets last round, all teams deserved to be here, no African teams have ever reached semis, let’s see if morocco will make history this time
brazil/Croatia
first glance, Croatia +1/1.5 is a gift, don’t wanna talk much about both teams squad, if fatigue not an issue, I doubt Croatia will lose more than a goal, they’re not Korea and Brazil won’t have much space to operate their sexy plays, will only consider 3 plays, under 2.5, FH draw or +1.5
(will confirm plays later)
netherlands/Argentina
im a big fan of messi but orange +0/0.5 is the play here, orange haven’t lost to Argentina in past 5 and Netherlands style is the one that gonna have big trouble for Argentina, legit counter attack……but I think it’s gonna be a draw 0-0 or 1-1 in 90 mins , I’m just taking Netherlands +0/0.5
bet with care
good luck everyone

If you go by the numbers and strength of opponents marocco has face far better top ranking teams in the world so far. so to say who has the best defense no doubt is marocco but, to said who has the best mix of both, no doubt is Brazil. Netherlands was very lucky vs a weak Usa team, if that early goal is in by pulazik in the 11 minute all that defense for the dutch was gonna flip in seconds, if we go back to the ecuador game netherlands didnt look all that great aswell, ecuador miss lots of opportunities they had 15 shots on target vs 2 of the dutch. And ecuador team that argentina blasted for 3-0 match and tie when the argetines were already qualify, so my thinking is that that argentina is gonna look for an early goal and had ball possession the rest of the game. England looks very very disciplined aswell but there’s 56 years of history behind them, facing a experience and fast team like france dont help well
i like the croatia game under. The pace is gonna be super slow and both teams tend to have the ball in control for counting minutes without real opportunities.

I think we can only see how good brazil defense will be when they’re playing Portugal, personally I still have tons of questions with this brazil backline and d midfield, silva is 39, can he defend versatile forward ….
I still think england by contrast is more consistent with defense and they’re loaded with their bench, put it this way, one of the best young midfielders on the bench(Mason mount) and they can still perform at a high level, this team definitely in a good progress and direction moving forward, unfortunately they have to face france then orange/Argentina in semis ….(I’m not a big england fan)
