Thoughts on upcoming weekend matches.
Saturday April 2
Brescia vs Bologna...As stated in my Wise Guy thread, Brescia is the play,but the line has now been bet up to a whopping -222. Still the right play but you might want to hedge some juice by parlaying with Juventus or Milan to score a goal.
Ac Milan vs Inter... As stated in my Milan Derby thread, this is the Game of the Year and I believe that Milan will cruise to a victory. Two other possible bets on this match are; Milan team total Over 1.5 and the total Over 2.5(Great value at plus money)
Sunday April 3
Napoli vs Lazio... No doubt that Napoli is the better squad between the two. Give them home advantage versus an overrated Lazio team that has missing defenders and you have a solid home win. Must Note: Napoli is winless in their last 6 at home vs Lazio.
Catania vs Palermo... The Sicilian Derby will be an interesting one to watch. Catania would be the more desperate team between the two, but Palermo is getting great value to build upon their 1-0 victory over Milan. Palermo Draw No Bet seems to be the best.
Cesena vs Fiorentina... This is the time of the year where lesser teams in Serie A begin to be heavily backed by "smart money". It's telling when Cesena have not gotten any support and they are not going to get mine neither. Fiorentina are on a roll and at the +140 level you get great value.
Genoa vs Cagliari... This game has recently come OFF the board on some books. I expect that books are getting an abnormal amount of draw bets on the match and are being forced to pull the game. Since both teams are at 39 points(1 point below the Serie A magic # of 40) the draw is to be favoured.
Lecce vs Udinese... Udinese were red hot leading into the international break, and the stoppage might just throw them off their game. Lecce will be focusing on avenging their earlier loss to Udinese(4-0) and at home they might have a punters chance.
Chievo vs Sampdoria... If you can find this game, take the draw.(Wise guy play)
Parma vs Bari... I know Bari is heading to Serie B and that they are horrible,but there is no way i back Parma at a ridiculous -222 price.
Roma vs Juventus... The line on this match has moved all week long. Roma is getting heavily backed, leaving Juventus with huge + odds. Juventus have a good road record (5-6-4) and will have Coppa Italia revenge on their minds. Goals should come easy in this game as no team has any real reason to hold back. Possible plays, Juventus Not to Lose, total Over 2.5, and Juve to score a goal.
