Stabaek to win @-105, Stabaek -1 @+183 - not sure if I understand this line entirely, to me there should be waaay more juice attached. checked the injures/suspensions and nothing glaring. a good chunk of the reasonings for this play is simply FADING Viking; did so last week and not gonna jump off that bandwagon yet. The squad is in terrible form; dead last with just 1 win in 9 games (1-1-7, 6/16 goals). and have just one goal scored in 4 roadies. Stabaek opened their season winning 4 of first 5; slowed down a little but still managed draws vs Valerenga & Rosenborg @ home(0-0); two teams which are expected to compete for the title. They BARELY escaped relegation last year needing to go to playoff round where they scored twice in last 7 minutes in 2nd leg to stay up. the H2H's reflect a 2-2-2 for each team right down the middle in the past 6 meetings. After holding Rosen scorless and then winning on the road last week, I have a hard time seeing the home side drop pts here vs the weakest team in league; the current form + Vikings struggles on offense make this worth a shot.
Serie A: been getting fed a lot of stuff the past week from close friends whom have their ears to the ground out there and most has been spot on. and so here we have another one.
Pescara to win @-102, halftime over 1.5 @+120 - this is the time of year where IOU's are issued in Italy (or a better way of putting it, UOMe's). theres a reason for the major line movement; and in Serie A...... learned this a long time ago, never, ever go against huge line movements in Italy, and if you see a draw with juice?
regarding the 'over', game total might hit by halftime but not paying that kind of juice on a 2.5 line.

BOL, we were discussing how something looked fishy in the Serie a game, I went with pescara as well due to the movement.
I always wondered though, if a game fix was real how do they put it on? Do the players know and lay down? Or do the refs throw out some outrageous calls? Never really understood how it would actually work with 11 guys on the pitch. This isn't basketball where the refs can completely steal a game.

Boof, Stabaek had a 66-34% possession, a large shot differential & Viking only had 1 shot on goal (which went in). ehhh, another one of those games .but got it back with Pescara

mngambler - first of all, congrats on the win. how the h*ll that stayed under I have no idea; the flow went exactly as I thought, the chances were right there for the taking, thats why theyre both getting relegated. I dont know where you heard/saw the 'over' was based on line movement, it sure wasnt here in this thread.
Loose - saw a good chunk of the replay but not the ending. didnt suprise me the least if thats what ya say happened. LOL. blew the whistle early? sheesh. perhaps he didnt want to cancel his dinner reservation and needed to leave early.
rewinds, i hate using the word "fix", cuz it detracts from the beauty of the sport and it isnt as rampant as the media likes us to believe. and Yes it does happen tho; but in Italy there are certain aspects, which is too long to type up here that usually comes into play at seasons end every year..but rarely is it the players whom start those ideas, this comes from higher up the food chain. getting 11 men all on the same page will blow up in ur face and end their careers in a heartbeat, hypothetically, if you want to control the outcome of a match the ref is the one person you need in on your idea. cuz they are the ones whom have complete control over the flow of the game. but again, Id prefer to steer clear of that topic.

Yep, just like in the NBA ... there was ONE rogue referee, and they caught him.
The authorities always catch the cheaters, just look it up, they caught them when they cheated. Not one instance has match fixing happened and they didn't catch them. Like Ronnie says, the times it happened before, the people were caught.

It happened once or twice, the people got caught and that's it.
Snark aside, if you did decide to use google, you could find at least 30 incidents (that we know of) over the last 20 years that involve match fixing at the highest levels of association football.
