this forum is becoming a joke. some ppl are clueless on futbol.

once again, I would not suggest risking the farm on any of these.
Sweden/Korea - already have a "built-in" dislike for Swedes cuz they knocked us out. this squad is not the most gifted athletically, nor are they a goalscoring bunch. over 2-legs, they put just 4 shots on target and had just 1 corner. but are a seriously tough nut to crack on defense. on paper, i guess, it seems they have a better team (but we've all seen just how much that means lately) as quite a few of their players collect paychecks from lowertable clubs within the Power 5 leagues in europe.
Korea - is the "big unknown", they seem to advance every 8 years when the bulk of their team comes from domestic league (fyi, apparently they are "due" this year). but nobody seems to be giving them a chance; except those gadzillion asians with gadzillions in their pockets. allowing the lines on these koreans to always be nice; so I guess there WAS something nice to come out of that run in '02. their 2 best play in the EPL so theres quality up front but unsure of the rest of this team as their performances havent been great lately. on the flip side, I dont see THAT big of a difference as some are suggesting and with the Mexicans winning, this match suddenly became HUGE for both. seeing this being played out cautiously to begin with.

Belgium/Panama - while reading one of the British forums last week, came across someone mentioning the Belgiums have trouble scoring (what would you expect from those loyal Brits anyways. 
). but this has got to be one of the DUMBEST comments ive come across thus far this world cup because if theres ONE thing Waffle boys dont have a problem with.... its finding back of net. from the skill/technique, these guys are loaded up front. and loaded in the middle. first UEFA team to qualify and ... i THINK... broke a record with 43 scored. granted, not the strongest of competition but hey.... look at whom they are playing today. Martinez left Nainn off the roster, for those whom are familiar, this basically means Waffle boys approach will/should be to win every match 15-1. and with their showdown with the Lions not coming till the 3rd game, theyd be keen to pile up the goal difference & unlike England, they are capable.

Panama - i think they were the ONLY team to have qualified with a negative goal difference. theyre gonna park the bus here, but im unsure if this will even work. Costa Rica tried this last week in a friendly with their 1st team squad and there were 4 goals in 50 minutes. though Panamas offense is non-existant we cant expect much help from them here. however, I feel Waffle-boys can hit this # on their own.

swedes could have made things a little easier for themselves had they been more clinical in front but a 'w' is a 'w'. thank you VAR, 7 down 4 to go.
